got jumped for no reason

long story short
I was at a party on campus and some dude tries to hit me with a bottle but misses, I look back to see what it was but I don't say anything. Next thing I know a dude runs and gets in my face and while he's talking to me like 4 dudes come from behind and just start hitting me in the head. I just instantly took off running...
In that situation what would you have done and why do people do stuff like that?

I would've pulled my gun out and defended myself. Might've let off a few extra shots out of anger once they were down.

Never gotten jumped before but I have been sucker punched on a few occasions. All of them never squared up after either That's probably my biggest pet peeve when it comes to street fights. If you are going to be a coward and throw a punch at someone who is not expecting it then follow these two rules 1. You absolutely must have to knock him out with that punch 2. You must be willing to square up after. either there or some day in the near future. period


sidenote: I once smashed a full unopened Corona bottle on a dude who was stabbing my homie at a party. I had my boy with me from PJ Watts that had a little ,22 on him and told him to bust a few in the air and homie completely fumbled it like a goober when he reached for it

when you're getting jumped usually dudes wait for a few seconds before the first dude gets at you. You don't give that courtesy, attack a mfer, get out the corner and keep fighting.

As soon as you almost got hit with the bottle, you should've started acting mad flamboyant. Then let them jump you. Call the cops, and file a report for a hate crime. Get them charged with Battery and assault. Sue the campus for letting that go down. Guarantee that they'll settle out. Cash out.
