Are they same? Are they different? Do they coexist? How much do you believe mankind knows about the universe?

What do you categorize as universe (solar sytem n all that, and/or invisible forces)?
What are your thoughts on this?

In the big picture I would say we know little to almost nothing about the universe...we don't even know what's in 95% of the ocean

Wouldn't be surprised if there's a god for every galaxy ...within a cluster of galaxies, within a mega galaxy. And we're considered microscopic bacteria to the gods they haven't found a cure for.

I would consider the universe anything and everything. The universe is so big it almost sounds fake, like there has to be something more to this whole universe than just us.

There are many Gods. The Universe is One.

I think there is a high chance of multiverses.

I've had the idea when I was younger that at extreme quantam levels of anything organic/carbon that there are universes and galaxies :lol

What really blows your mind is when you think about "it", the "beginning"

what gave way to that it? what the flip is it?

why are we here? why did what ever happened to even start "this", happen?

I wouldn't say the universe is "god", unless you include the fact that it was bred from "god" therefore being a part of it

"god" is what ever started this game, or what started what led to it; the universe is the left overs

"god" was the the thing that left the stove on, the universe is what was left after the house caught blaze

Our universe and everything else we discovered (observable universe) is probably a grain of sand compared to whats really out there.

Everyone has a different definition of god. Most people think he has control of human lives and events that happen that so happen to affect human lives or feelings. I dont think that is probable.

But also to be fair, my ego is not big enough to say god doesnt or cannot exist because I technically dont know the actual truth. Even though deep down inside I really think the odds of that kind of god existing is like 1 in a pico or whatever huge number zillion trillion exponent brazillian.

Lol I used to think we couldve been the size of an electron on some "god"s booger or something.

Something like those marbles from men in black.

That's the thing. What if we rename god as "the universe". God is nothing but a name for the "creator". The universe is the "creator" in a sense. I think the notion of "god" has been twisted into a sense that a giant man watched over us.......

In a sense there is no such thing as life and death. We're just a random state (form) of energy. When we "die" it's nothing more than our current state of random energy being redeposited into another. If energy cannot me destroyed or created are we really born? Do we really die? By definition, no, we are all "ever lasting", our state of being is the only thing that changes. If you want to go even deeper, we're all one and the same. We all come from the same energy. We are just different arrangements of the same energy.....

Just some food for thought

Since our perception of time is all relative, what if god is nothing but a child? What if we are nothing more than a child's toy? Beaten, abused, loved, cared for, and neglected, all at the same time for no apparent reason. What if we're in a state of chaos because our creator is still learning?

No such thing as god, we don't know anything really about the universe.

This is the perfect quote for a non-believer, equally balanced in both worlds.

can confirm, I am universe.

nothing's real and you don't know a thing. enjoy the perceived pleasure and knowledge.

you're welcome, parasites. ♥

also the chicken came first.

I still kinda believe this.

Not the marbles thing but that there's infinite universes.

Quarks pop in and out of existence, but maybe on their own scale it's a trillion years or something.

When I think about what the universe is expanding into, I think about how small atoms, quarks and strings are and how they could expand into what seems like nothing to them.

In the grand scheme of things, I know time isn't absolute. There was no beginning and there will never be an end.

God = Universe. We are all gods children and god created everything we see.

Im not going to explain my philosophy on life, because i truly believe that a person should come to their own conclusion on the life they live, and i do respect everyones beliefs. But in regards to your question
(This isnt 100% what i think)

It means that nothing actually exists except for the experience. And you are that experience, thus making you the universe.

It is incredibly simple in concept, but difficult to wrap your head around. Still, it's true. You are the universe experiencing itself. All the evidence that we have points to this very truth. Life is dynamic. Evil defines good, hot defines cold, dark defines light. None of these is mutually exclusive, as in, good would be nothing without evil... literally nothing. So the ebb and flows of dynamic experience coagulate into something apparent. That apparent something would be you. The universe is impossible except within this frame.

There is no god. Sorry. Evil in spite of a purely loving creator? I don't think so. Matter and energy cannot arbitrarily exist. Sorry. Stephen Hawking, in his latest book, surmises that matter came into existence spontaneously with anti-matter as a by-product. He's a smart guy, but if that sounds like a stretch, let me run this by you.

Nothing... as in, "nothing"... like a lack of anything... cannot exist. The experience itself, while apparently tangible, is not. The good in the world is equivalent to all the evil, because they are utterly relative and dependant on each other. They net zero. Like everything else. They cancel each other out.

The fact that there are waves doesn't change the volume of water in a lake. When it all stands still, the dynamics are over. The cycle of death and rebirth can finally end. That is the enlightenment that Buddha was talking about. Meditation is training to still the spirit/soul/self. The only way to truly end suffering is to end all passions.

It is all a grand illusion, but it all seems so real because you, my friend, are the universe. And with that, you and I, and all of us, have the power to change it all.

A human BEING that is experienced is EXTREMELY powerful. Sooooo.... like jimi said
