GOAT APP legit?

Has anybody shipped to GOAT after their order was cancelled. I don't think my order was scanned and is going to get shipped today, but got hit with the cancellation on the app. It's BS with the 72 hours turnaround with the Sunday and Christmas though. I'm done with GOAT once they start hitting me with that 2.9% tax for ACH.

It's GOAT's shipping label. Have them call UPS and re-route back to you.

Yea, happened a couple times. They get the shoes and ask you if you want to consign them or have them shipped back to you for 20.28 or whatever they say is the shipping costs for both ways

Goats CS sucks. They respond within a day or so through the app, but they don't even read over old messages. They said there an extra day to ship because of holidays, then they say it's automatically cancelled after 72 hours. Now they say the 1 day extention was up to the 27th and orders are cancelled the following day. None of this makes sense and I got no extension. At least now I know to make as shipped early on the app.

anyone ever return ds shoes form goat? are there an fees or things i should know about. bought something, but found a cheaper price.

do i have to pay for shipping?
I have returned 2 shoes to GOAT. One was before they implemented the "return for GOAT credit only" return policy and the other after it was in effect.

In either case, you are refunded the full amount you paid for the shoes minus shipping cost both ways. Since I'm in California, I would lose $20 in shipping costs for a return.

You do not pay for the return label. It's part of the shipping loss you take.

It seems that everyone has had good experiences with GOAT. I am not giving up on this app. The only thing I wonder is why they take so long to accept an application to sell. Been waiting for over 60 days now.

Send them a quick email inquiring the status of your application. I did that when mine was pending for a long time and within a couple days after I had sent an email I was approved.

GOAT is extremely deceptive about price deductions when they think there's something wrong with your sneakers and want you to offer a discount. I sold a pair of salmon toes for a good chunk of change. The lid had like maybe a 1/2 inch to 1 inch tear on it. I get an email saying I need to offer the buyer a discount to encourage them to go through with the sale. What's clear though is they never bothered to reach out to the buyer about the imperfection. How do they know the buyer isn't fine with a small tear on a box? I emailed them asking them if they reached out to the buyer about this and what price does the buyer want, since I don't want to give a discount if it's not warranted. 2 days go by and I don't hear jack ****. For fear of the transaction not going through and hearing about the horror stories about their consignment charge and how much they charge to ship sneakers back to you, I end up giving a 5% discount (which is a lot of money on a high priced item) and a day later the transaction goes through. GOAT CS is just absolutely awful. Ask any sort of question on stockx and you get a response very shortly and almost always within an hour or so.

Since buyers and sellers have no communication how does someone know that GOAT isn't just pocketing extra funds? Full box pictures need to be included in listings considering how important the box is to GOAT and some buyers..

And double nickels still sitting

Marked the price like $20 less than what it was before

Smh

If you sell on goat, just make sure your stuff is near perfect. They will contact you for damaged boxes, excessive glue, creases, etc. I make sure if I sell a shoe on goat, it doesn't have any of those things.

I think by now if you don't check every single thing as far as selling on goat, you'll playing Russian roulette. Understanding that it might not be your fault on somethings but, by now people know how they operate.

It got passed through a little bit early when I asked if they are taking this long to authenticate shoes, I know the buyer has to be losing their **** waiting on the shoe. Then again you don't have to worry about any scams or fakes coming to your house.

Yeah. My favorite part of goat is not having to deal with post sale issues like returns, charge backs etc. That alone is worth their fees.

This. Double box securely.

If there are ANY flaws, don't sell on Goat. Go stockx instead.

Haven't had any issues with GOAT, I primarily use it to sell slightly used shoes tho. Most DS shoes I sold were when they had just opened and I even sold some ds 6s with the box in awful condition (before putting the condition of the box was available) and my sale went through fine

You are allowed to refuse a discount. Then they ask the buyer if he still wants to purchase.

The last pair I sold as I was boxing I noticed the box had a tear on it where the store price sticker was torn off. I contacted GOAT about it and send a photo because I didn't want to end up having to pay to get kix back. GOAT took 3 days to respond and told me it wasn't an issue. They said they only care if the box is damaged to the point of not being structurally sound. The sale went through with no issues.

Lol wouldn't be surprised they just kept that 5%. Seeing a lot of ppl having issues with goat right for various thing.

Just had my first successful sale on stockx. Same day payout as delivery. Very happy about that. Now if only the offers on there were as good as goat I'd switch in a second.
