So they knew USPS was slacking with scanning shipments "To avoid any issues, all UPS Stores, UPS Customer Centers, UPS Retail Chains (e.g. Staples) and UPS Authorized Shipping Outlets will scan your packages."

What they failed to mention is how much extra they will charge sellers for shipping UPS now

Atleast goat is listening

Yeah, it's basically a wash for me, so if it's easier to get my stuff scanned in/safer, I'll be happy. The PO is closer to me and I go by there everyday, but the line is always huge, and they are sometimes d***s about scanning stuff. UPS is further across town, but rarely a line, and they always give a confirmation receipt without having to ask.

I don't mind ups so long as they don't use ground shipping.
this is what im worried about. Ground shipping will be longer than usual. USPS is fast as hell. Im on my third transaction right now and GOAT is taking longer than usual to release my funds when they received delivery of my shoes today.

How much is the premium?  Honestly we should be able to choose between the two.

Ground shipping in Hawaii takes the full 7 business days in and out anywhere to the continental US.  That's 7 or 9 days minimum to get cashed out if you hit a weekend sale.  VS USPS which is 2 or 3 days.

with goat getting more popular by the day i think ups makes sense. luckily i'm in california so shipping to them wouldn't take much longer than going with usps.
i hope they hire some more authenticity specialists or something since i had a few pairs sold that's been sitting waiting to be checked out for a few days now.

The Post Office right by me is A1 so i was good with USPS

UPS is only a short drive so if this helps in anyway great

just hope it don't take 7 day's for it to get to GOAT

About time they switched. UPS is far more professional than the USPS. They've lost my packages more than 3 times and nearly delivered my order to another state once before it was rerouted.

They also scan my GOAT packages like 65-70% of the time max.

My USPS drop off takes UPS too so no biggie.

I still want to know how much they gonna charge sellers/buyers for shipping now. Yall already know its gonna be ground or theyre gonna charge us $20 for 3-day select

Don't kid yourself that goat is listening, they seem to be incapable of that. I'm sure they're gonna charge more.

The difference between experiences with the USPS and UPS can be summed up by private vs. public.

GOAT CS said shipping via UPS will be 3-day, not ground. Hopefully they don't charge more. I feel like they started with USPS because they had no other option and to show UPS that they do enough volume now to be a legitimate business partner. But who knows.

ground takes a full week coast to coast and they dont deliver weekends, priority takes 2 days with saturday delivery

My local USPS and UPS are right next to each other where I'm at..

And both of them have good service so no big deal to me..

UPS store also stays open to 7PM as opposed to 5PM for USPS..

I shipped a package off to GOAT today with UPS and it was 3-day select..

I am not sure if the customer pays more though.

Is UPS more expensive than USPS?

If so they will def force the buyer to pay more or cut more off our fees

Someone pay attention to fees and how much you're actually getting back

From my understanding UPS commercial customer accounts goes by total weight shipped per month versus how many shipments. The more weight you ship the lower your cost per lb will be. Not sure if USPS is the same or not.

so fars it's commission- 9.5% and -$5 after the commission (for where I stand) lets see what the difference will be 2-6months from here. And Buyers pay $10 for shipping.
