Used the app for the first time last week to cop some 750's. Worked perfectly for me. I don't mind their attention to detail, helps provide me with peace of mind.

Well that is pretty lame. Since we now know that an over weight package can just be billed to Goat sounds like we all need to add some extra padding in these boxes.I just praised GOAT and now they are getting on my nerves lol.
They really have a serious shipping issue. Shipped my package double box and all with bubble wrap and when they receive the item the shoe box has a hole on the box but shoes are in good shape.
They told me that it's the seller fault if a box comes in damage. So the box is in transit a USPS throwing the box every which a way and it's the seller fault.
They wanted me to offer a discount to the buyer which I said no and the buyer still except the shoe but if the buyer says no the shoe is either relist or the seller has to pay over $35 for the shoe to be shipped back.
Smh
what a USPS employee does with the box is out of goat's control though. what would you have goat do about it?I just praised GOAT and now they are getting on my nerves lol.

that will only make things worse. people start doing that and goat will eventually do something about it. they're not just gonna sit there and lose money

I believe GOAT has an option to list shoes with minor defects. I guess these and the Banned's someone noted above would fall under that category. The seller can sell the shoes as DS with minor defects and include pictures so the seller knows exactly what they are getting. It's really the only option if your shoe has even minor issues that a seller may complain about if GOAT didn't note it. Not saying I agree with GOAT on everything but it is an option.
So I just sold a pair of 2016 metallic 5s size 12.. printed out a shipping label and it said 4 pounds. The sneakers themselves are practically 4 pounds. After I boxed it up and brought it to USPS for a receipt the guy said I owed an additional $18... WTF.. do I have a case for making GOAT reimburse me?
I've had multiple packages returned to me when I used to sell through ebay. My post office must have a package nazi because if I'm off by a little bit it gets returned to me, which is why I'm extra careful. Anyway, next time I'm just going to drop it off on the counter and see what happens.
let's run this again. sneakers delivered yesterday. still sitting with them over a day later. their buyers are super patient lol
man all these stories popping up on the forums making me cautious of using them now
Doesn't happen all the time just something little and new when it comes to GOAT. I hope eventually they will some how modify their shipping issues
yes, by using i meant selling with them. so many horror stories even popping up in other threads
Are you sure? I thought if the shoe has any noticeable defects, you can list the shoe with images. If I'm incorrect, then the seller should be sure to be very detailed with the defects. Like if it's a white shoe, they should be clarifying the mark is black. That's a pretty important detail.1
But you see the thing is, if the shoes are new the buyer doesnt get to see pics. They only get description. So you as the seller could say small mark on left toe, but when GOAT gets it it could be a small mark but it could be a black mark on a white part of the shoe. Then they may or may not send an email to the seller saying something is wrong if they do then they want u to offer a discount. I dont think they email the buyer about an issue until after the seller makes a response.
Anyways as a buyer you dont get to see pics of the new shoes which sucks. I want to see pics just like i can on the used shoes.
I wouldn't be too startled. They're very particular, but it's for the good of both buyer and seller. These issues don't occur on every single pair sold. It's just a few here and thereDoesn't happen all the time just something little and new when it comes to GOAT. I hope eventually they will some how modify their shipping issues
Interesting, at least that is good to hear you didn't have any issues. Not like you could do anything about it.It's very weird how picky they are right now
I've sold a ton of shoes with small factory issues that are very common and In no way my fault and they have accepted the shoes with zero issue.
I don't get why they make you take pictures of brand new shoes, especially when they still inspect them. Guessing there is no way around this? I mean yes I understand it if they didn't inspect them but its like really?
Ive sold 4x now with GOAT and after it arrives it takes like 2 days before they say the shoes were authenticated. I had a pair delivered today im expecting an email saturday. Would be nice by tomorrow (friday) butnot getting my hopes up
