GOAT APP legit?

I'm so sick right now. Sold a pair of PB Yeezy 350s for 500, left the credits so I could buy something nice once my spare Zebra's verified and I wake up and someone with a .ru address stole my money. I e-mailed them but this has never happened. I'm hoping they take care of this. Scared to use the app after this.

Damn... I got money sitting on goat right now

Didn't know dudes were hacking accounts and stealing money

I mean it should be easy for goat to issue your money back if the cashout details and what not were changed?

Never heard of it happening til now so 8o

I always cash out once my sneakers are authenticated.
I'm going to sell off some of my collection in the near future. I've gone back and forth debating on selling on GOAT, Ebay, Flight Club or SoleSupremacy...what do you think is the most efficient way without getting robbed on consignment fees?

If you want to sell your whole collection as a whole rather than selling individually and don't want to deal with all the hassle then I would sell to Sole Supremacy. If you are patient and just want to get a better price for each shoe rather than selling all in a bulk, then I would use Goat> ebay. Never dealt with Flight Club so I can't comment on that matter.

I'm leaning towards selling a couple at a time for better prices, I've only bought from GOAT but I think I'm leaning towards them or going up to LA for Flight Club. Thanks man

Can anyone on this thread answer this question for me?

Flight Club has a price estimate on their website for a shoe that you will sell to them..do they hold true to this estimate when you take your shoes to them? Obviously if they deem them DS and legit. Thanks gents

so im out of boxes again, but i have this box that is a bit larger.  it's 10x14x19 . is this too big to be shipping a goat order? will i be charged extra for the size of the box by usps?

The problem I see with Goat is the most hyped and popular shoes sell. Less popular shoes don't sell as well. For example, Air Max, Trainers, Nike retros typically just sit. So depending on your collection you may want to consider putting your popular shoes on Goat and less popular on eBay. Im not sure how StockX is but I assume the hyped popular shoes sell there as well. I mean people don't go looking for a retro Bo Jackson on those sites.

Thats a good point. Selling only Jordan retro's personally

USPS only adjust price based on weight as long as all the inches add up to below 70. Goat prepays up to 4 lbs I believe. I would add some padding around the shoe box so I doesn't slide around during shipping.

:lol bruh you realize this is the case regardless of where you sell? :rollin

I think you missed the point of my statement. People don't go to Goat and StockX to buy a Bo Jackson retro. Shoes like that sit on those sites. However it will sell on eBay in typically one auction. So sit for months vs. sell in a week. For example: Air Mowabb retro has been sitting on Goat for months. It would've sold on eBay at the first auction. Go look at let's say an Air Trainer SC. How many size runs do you see sitting on Goat? No full size runs. Maybe a size here or there. Go check eBay. How many there? Tons. How many OVO Jordan 12s are there on Goat? Tons. PSNY 12? Tons and that shoe released over a year ago. What about that Air Zoom Spiridon 2016 that released last year? Only 1 size 8 on Goat.

Yea every shoe has a different market, it is what it is

Fellas, I actually emailed the GOAT team last night after applying last night to sell. They sent me back a quick response saying all they needed from me was pictures of 4-5 sneakers I plan on selling with my name tag in the photos. I did that and they just approved my account. We'll see how the selling goes on there!

Anyone ever actually buy from GOAT and received a fake pair?

It's possible whenever you pay resell, but pics?

^ I saw that twitter account with that claim but it would take a large amount of negligence on GOAT's part for what that man is claiming to have happened, I would think they have processes in place to prevent such occurrences.

Yea I mean come on that's not even the same box

Some people claim their legit pairs of the more limited releases have came with that box, but GOAT is particular with the boxes, if seller list as New with OG box in good condition and it arrives in that box, they would contact the buyer to find out how to proceed, cancel, ask for discount, or continue.

Yea based off of what I've read on here they are extremely anal about everything so letting go of all that is unlikely

Looking through I also read the guy has multiple pairs of same shoe, he probably took a risk with a seller elsewhere and got burned and is trying to pass the burden on GOAT.
