Getting Caught in a Lie Unappreciation/Funny

Hooked up with some girl, we msg back and forth on facebook. On Tuesday she asks me what im upto that night and if I want to come over and hang out? I makeup some lie, "can't make it tonight gotta help sister with some nonsense, but def sooner than later" I went out with some other girls/friendsthat night to party and wtv since it was Veteran's day Wednesday so everything was poppin. Fastforward to last night..i go over to this girls place withmy friend to scoop her up on our way to the bar. We stop inside to chill for a minute/pre drank and we start talking. My friend starts talking about goingout whatever and he is like yeah i was surprised when sundizz called me Tuesday to go out and party with him...we don't usually do anything on theweekdays. He went to dt with peoples yada yada. I know she puts it together immediately and is like Tuesday eh?

I'm like it might of been Monday...who knows..days just come and go now thatwe get out of college.

I was dead $!! trying to figure out how could you get caught in a life. Trying to think if it was some slang for catching a body or a saying I never heard of
