Game of Thrones prequel series: House of the Dragon

It is, though.
Every single one of those except BB also has a bad season or 2.
Nah. Nobody talks about GoT anymore except when they talk about how bad S8 was.

All 3 of the shows I mentioned is still revered even though they maybe had one mediocre season. Wire S5 is nowhere near as bad as S8. Assuming that’s what you are talking about. At worst it was a decent season that at least tied up a lot of storylines right.

Yeah that's just not true overall.
I'm not gonna say it's false for what you're reading or the people you talk to, but overall? That's just not true.
People say the same exact things about Wire/Sopranos/GoT.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Those other shows are done, though, so the scars have kinda healed for everybody.
GoT is still fresh because of HotD. Still stings.

GOT will never clean the stench off past season 8 episode 3. only way would be hbo to refilm the last 5 episodes which wont happen or remove them from cannon and have episode 3 be the finale. only way to move forward. cant gloss over that atrociousness. cant believe they fumbled what was going to be the greatest show of all time. its still **** D&D.

THANK YOU!!!!
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO GET HERE, AT THAT MOMENT!!!
Loved it the second I saw it.
Still love it.
Let everyone else tell it, though... 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️🤬

She did the damn thing, man. 🔥

First three episodes of season 8

Jon finding out about his heritage from Sam was such a dope moment, and Sam was right if the rolls were reversed Dany would not have bent the knee. Jon has never cared about titles despite the position of power he finds himself in he will throw it all away for the people EYE do not beleive Dany would’ve done the same in any of those situations. She too all or nothing sometimes. She should let the north secede and she shouldn’t have killed Sam’s brother. I’m not surprised she see Jon as lowkey a threat now despite so much evidence he’s not like her he will not want the iron throne. Every time Jon been given power it’s cause it was bestowed upon him by the people not him taking it. In a perfect world if it was up to him he’d still just be the assistance to the regional manager at castle black.

Jamie returning to kings landing completely humbled compared to season 1 episode 1 I love it. Also I can’t lie they been having my guy Tyrion lookin crazy lately he looking his edge used to be so many steps ahead.

I can’t lie Knight of the seven kingdoms episode 2 might be one of my favorite episodes in the whole show. I know it was full of fan service with all the reunions and conversations but I’ll be damned if it didn’t warm my heart before all them was trying to cope with what everyone was certain was gonna be they last night on earth. Ed Sam and Jon with the nights watch reunion, Jorah and lady Mormont, Jamie and Tyrion and the rest that joined them around the fire man Tormund doing everything in his power to impress Brienne he wanna chop down that tree so bad 😂 Arya and the Hound and Beric then Arya and Gendry. How could I not love that stuff.

Brianne being knighted fr fr got me in my chest she was always acting like she didn’t want that title like it wasn’t her dream. Good on Jamie for that man fr fr that was beautiful. That meant so much to her.

The long night was an incredible battle man everyone put in work. They had the better plan, better fighters all that but was just losing the math game man sometimes none of that planning matter when someone can just throw 1000s and 1000s of bodies at you. Jorah slick might be the MVP of the long night he rode off first with the Dothraki came back survived fought off saved people and stood his ground defending Dany with the power of all the dudes that have been told “you’re like a brother to me” bro got stabbed in the abdomen two times and still got up to defend Dany during that final stretch like

I should’ve known the night king not really like that with the fighting. All he’s done is raise dead and throw them at people send his generals for the for the one v ones but never himself. I mean I guess it’s smart strategy cause if he goes down it all goes down so it makes sense for him not to be on the front line but I ain’t gotta respect it. Can someone please shot the fair one with Jon ONE TIME. Ramsey and night king ran from the smoke. I hate to give that loser props but if it came down to it…Stannis would never!

I guess Theon redeemed himself died defending the family he betrayed fair enough. I got one more joke for his dumb*** tho bro really ran straight forward at the Night King? That was your plan? Really bruh? No other strategy just takes the most difficult low percentage shot he could’ve taken? Like he really like that?

I can’t lie after the red witch thing they basically told you Arya was gonna hit the game winner. But it somehow still surprised me in the moment she really came in off the top ropes and ninja’d her way past all them dudes straight to the night king. I gotta imagine between her sneaking skills and the Nights Kings generals still in shock by Theon dumb *** attempt she was able to glide right by 😂 Feels right that a stark even if it wasn’t Jon defeated the Night King and with the prophecy Aegon dagger. It was fire and ice that did it in the end.

Yeah it’s fun seeing that Aegon dagger now in HotD knowing it gets thrust into the Night King centuries later. They do some key close-ups on it when Alicent first gives it to Aegon in the carriage, and when Aemond picked it up at the scene of Aegon’s dragon death fall.

Watching HOTD first the only reason I been trying to keep a close eye on where that dagger at all series.

Second I clocked it season one I was like ayo that’s Viserys dagger he showed Rhynera the prophecy

Def one of my fav scenes in the show! And her eye contact with Pod the Rod was so great cuz he knew what it meant to her.
