I thought the first season of Dave was well done but the 2nd just was random AF and they tried to go in too many different directions. It just got too weird and didn't keep my interest, I ended up watching the whole season but felt like some eps were a waste and fell flat.
That said I'll definitely be watching new season of Atlanta but kind of tempering my expectations.

Glad he said something. Dave clearly borrowed the style but the substance isn't even close. Season 1 showed potential, S2 was a trainwreck.
