not trying to be negative in any way, but are these the new beanie babies?
will they stand the test of time in value or more of a collector fad?

That seems like a pretty fair price considering the prices on eBay alreadySesane street pop. Theyre around but i think not everywhere
Got a boy trying to unload his Hseinberg for 40 shipped
I was collecting back in 2010-2011....
Pretty long lasting "fad".
Cool story. You're an early adopter.
As with every bubble, it'll pop. I'm sure Funko will continue to produce Pops for years to come, but its current hot commodity status won't last. That's what it means to be a fad.
A lot of people still don't know what a Funko Pop is. I don't think the bubble is close to popping yet. There's still a lot more room to grow.Cool story. You're an early adopter.

And sneakers (fad)?
You can't compare these to beanie babies.
As long as they continue to make pops geared to new movie releases and to appeal to ALL people - they'll be relevant.
Your SN and Avy are cursed by a "fad".
Why are you so defensive papi?
You're looking at it wrong.
Are sneakers a fad? No, they're a necessary part of our everyday lives and also evolve and adapt with the current trend and time. Remember Air Force 1s? Fila Grant Hills? Those were popular and trendy back then. Are they now? Nah. Shoe companies develop new ideas and implement new trends.
Are toys/collectible figurines a fad? No, they too evolve and adapt with time. Pops are a single type of toy and people will eventually find them stale and grow old of them. Will Funko continue making them? I'm sure of it. Will people eat it up in 5 years as much as they do now? Probably not.
Get it now?
Why come into a thread just to talk bad about it tho

Not worth debating over.
How am i talking bad about it? Just stated my thoughts on a question someone asked.
Y'all acting like I just insulted your moms. I collect pops myself. All I said was that pops's popularity won't last the way it is right now through the years.
