Yea once you get over that fact that it’s a corny movie and just listen to them talk, it’s pretty hilarious. It’s one of those movies where every time you watch it you notice something little that makes something else even funnier. Like when Day-day was in the car, talkin bout “we living ROUGH” and sobbed all over himself.

I swear Next Friday got better with age. Watched it on Netflix the other day and it was still funny.

The whole "getting fired on your day off" is legit one of the best running gags in movies or tv. The way they showed how word got around the hood and the absurdity of the whole situation is some good storytelling that they lost in the other two movies.

OG > Chris Tucker was perfect for that role and just the movie overall was the best out of all of them, but Next Friday grew on me as the years went by.
