Free Run+ 2 & iD - NSW iDs (Trail-inspired) NOW UP!

I would get used to walking and working out in them first.  Once you are accustomed to a more minimal shoe I think they would be great for any sport.
Just had a nice short 2 mile run in my 3.0 pair.  Might pull the trigger on these once the 3.0 sole is back in stock:

Check out the
Nike Free Run 2 iD Running Shoe
I designed at NIKEiD.com

first pair wasn't bright enough LOL

BillB: Nice! How long did your order take from getting the confirmation email to the delivery to your door?

^ Yeah i was thinking mainly just walkin/joggin. I had the og frees.. but there was barely and support and the grip would slip too easily on gym floors albeit the floors weren't the cleanest. The uppers look like they maybe got some decent structure?

Any chance anyone has better pictures of the white and grey pair? Thinking I may cop today and want a better look at them before I drive out on my lunch

Nevermind

went out and bought them anyway, and im not impressed! Maybe its the colorway

OPOF: Mine are still pending too. My order date was on the 5th, and they started on 8th. Hopefully, we'll get updates this week.

Kenichi: Thanks, Sir!

If only there was a Maize Yellow / True Yellow... thinking about doing it myself with Yellow or Gold...

What can i expect?

Hard to explain.  It's a lot less support, but almost more stability at the same time.  I'm used to having my feet strapped in, you know?  I mean it feels like you don't have shoes on kind of, but you do.  I've never owned a pair of sneakers that didn't have a tongue before, with these the tongue is kind of just part of the shoe, so you can't pull it up or adjust it.  You basically just slip them on and go.  But I do like them, stretching in them is like stretching without any shoes on at all, and I find that I'm able to gain stability very well on standing exercises, like military presses and whatnot.  Pretty sure everything's felt easier on my back as well.  I lift very heavily in the gym, so any tension I can alleviate on my back is a welcome change.

I can't imagine trying to play basketball in these.  I'd turn my ankle within 5 minutes.

I don't know if there's a thread for them, but the Free TR2's are on Nike ID right now. There's some really good options for them too.

^ The tongue was PSed... It was originally Turquoise, so you'll need to dye the tongue Black.

Ordered the "challenge red/white/black" ones off Eastbay with free shipping. Had a $15 gift card from when Ray hooked me up when they sent me a pair of Kobe's in a crappy cardboard box. $75.

LS Women's cw. It looks better than the men's cw, imho. It's only missing the yellow midsole rim...

You are welcome. Returned my Bordeaux's this morning, and got the Challenge Reds and Livestrong's of these for the same price. Good deal.

I like the black/green pair (2nd) and 5th to last blue/green ones. Look like T-Wolves colors. We'll be back with either Irving or Rubio
