The reason he spent the money on the customs was the fact it was it's birthday, meaning he wouldn't have dropped that money on a random day, and that's the original point he was trying to make. Not sure why that's so hard to understand. He also said he didn't spend exactly 2K so why do you keep trying to add the gas to that?
Release of the year IN YOUR OPINION, you say that as if it's a fact. We understand you're excited about doubling/tripling up and helping a few others out but the caping you're doing for the Frags is the amusing part.

I don't care if he dropped $2K from his taxes, dropping $2K is dropping $2K.... I bring up $2K because that's the quote JBF threw at me and I lol'd as soon as he sent me that email haha. His work starts at $1K so either way he's assed out $1200 with kicks and work at a MINIMUM. Honestly just tired of seeing people complain about this release. The Mods need block all these salty people from posting their ridiculous comments because they're ruining the thread. Why are the same people with the negative comments still coming in here? Everytime I come in here to see pics of other people come ups theres atleast 20+ salty comments about how these aren't special, not worth much, etc. This stuff is being said by vet NTers who already know the game in and out haha

I really find it amusing you keep comparing a HANDMADE custom sneaker with alligator and other real animals skin to a mass produced Jordan 1 that is solely made with a small piece of leather in china. Only real thing special about it besides the blue is that it has embossed thunderbolts

JBFs in every way are superiour to Frags quality wise obviously. You're dishing near $2K as opposed to a $200 retail sneaker
All I'm saying is if someone can dish out $2K for JBFs, who cares of others are dishing out $750 for Frags...

We'll have to agree to disagree as you can see the responses in the thread are split.
Let's discuss the shoe as if it were a collectible, because it is. It's a wearable collectible, but still its a collectible and thats why many of us are here on this forum.
For example, if you paid money for a baseball card described as "gem mint" and you received a card in "fair" condition you would be okay with that?
If you bought a tv from samsung and it came with a huge scuff on it, would you be okay with that?
Sellers have the obligation to accurately describe the condition of products they sell, right?
Just trying to state my side of things. If I buy absolutely anything flawed I like to know in advance and will adjust the price i pay accordingly.
That goes from cars, to electronics and anything else. Admittedly, I am probably more picky than most people but when paying 800 for a 185 shoe I think I deserve the right to be picky.
That will be my last post on the topic so we can get back to the shoes. Good to hear both sides.

If you're looking at them from a "collectible" standpoint I understand. However, if you plan on wearing a pair I don't see what the big deal is
