Yea I get the world's influence but if the home is tight and proper influences are provided on a regular basis (from the home) it'll be that much more difficult for society to create a weak man from that.
That's on men/fathers. We are the first line of blame.

Soft fathers set bad examples for their sons.
Irrational / Emotionally charged fathers set bad examples for their sons.
Absentee fathers indirectly raise the very type of boys that folks are worried about.
