I remember when this happened. Funny premise, but I believe it's fake. I remember reading at the time that the laxatives would have had zero effect on seagulls. Even if they did, they wouldn't work that fast.

Also, this was a time (2012) when fake viral videos were becoming a thing. I was working for blog sites that would post this type of content and we had to really make sure something was real before posting it.

I remember a famous one being the eagle that snatched a baby from a stroller (or, in a park, at least). My friend is a raptor expert and worked at a zoo with birds of prey. He said it was fake because the the baby wasn't immediately ripped to shreds. It was later debunked as there was some clever editing going on.
