From what was posted…..sounds like the “BF” just wanted his female to carry her financial weight. She says they live together so I’m guessing she has some residential housing responsibilities especially since they aren’t married.
Not sure why she wasn’t working for a month prior but generally speaking you want to be someone equally yoked somewhat money wise/financially wise.
