The moment a homeless man asked a group of Newcastle revellers for money has left people stunned after one of them handed over his bank card and PIN number.

In a heartwarming clip posted on Facebook , the mystery Good Samaritan shows what the caring Geordiespirit is all about when he is approached for spare change.

The unknown hero can be seen sitting outside city centre drinking spot Harry's Bar when the homeless man asks the group he is with if they have any cash.

And in a move that left onlookers stunned, the trusting man hands over his bank card and PIN number and tells the man to take £20 for himself.

The moment the homeless man then returned with the bank card and a receipt is melting hearts after being posted online by Jack Fada.

Jack, 27, posted the clip, saying, "Homeless man goes up to a group of people and asks for money, the bloke gives him his bank card and PIN number and tells him to take 20 quid for himself. Don't dare tell meNewcastle isn’t the greatest place on earth."

Jack told ChronicleLive: "I used to work in that area and you see homeless people asking for money round there all the time.

"I saw this man go up to a group of people and say 'have you got any change for us?'

"One of the blokes said 'I've got nothing on me but take my card and my pin number and take £20 out for yourself'.

"I thought it was amazing so I got my phone out and started recording it.

"I got him on the way back from the cash point giving the guy the receipt to show he'd just got the £20."

Jack, from South Shields , added: "So many people just ignore homeless people but this guy did something straight away.

"I was a bit surprised, but that's what people are like round Newcastle - they're nice.

"I wanted people to see it - it happened a few months ago [but] I haven't been on Facebook for a while.

"I thought it was something nice for people to see - there should be more people like that."

And many people have agreed since the clip was posted online.

One woman wrote: "Thank god there's still decent people around. Proud to be a geordie."

And another said: "Bless the homeless lad received respect and trust and thats what he gave back well done to you sir brave to do that bit human decency goes a long way."

Yet another posted: "Renewed my faith in human nature after all the bad things that are happening up and down the country."

DAMN they got dude out here playing gay but not really gay. I can't blame him at least he isn't kissing a guy, I am all for acting but not crossing that line. Never heard of the show do they reproduce by eggs or something.
Funny you say that, they actually do reproduce by laying eggs. And he's "coupled" with another male of his race, so technically he is playing gay. And they got cutty wearing the skirt in the relationship.... :smh:

You are completely lost, get hip to the running jokes and puns of NTers then ask that question, the jokes that might come related from this post, has nothing to do with why DC was called out for tagging me on the gender reveal topic.

You are completely foolish and calm down asshat...

I'm quite aware of the running jokes with you so let me explain since your tight *** jeans might have your thong riding up your *** or something.

You posted the ayo post knowing damn well about the running joke about you spraying the club up and cleaning it up after hence why the poster said you posted that knowing the jokes would follow.

I said maybe there is some truth to what DC says about you being an attention seeker on here so you post things knowing it will bring it towards you.

You're problems with having a kid with you and your girl has nothing to do with either post that was quoted and I've never seen DC make fun of you about it but if he did I assume you two are cool on that level otherwise it's pretty foul.

What I have seen DC crack on you about is posting things such as your girl or other stuff that you know will get a reaction as a post ***** so that's why I stated what I did.
