FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Going to be in LA for 3 days in a couple weeks. Will be staying in Santa Monica and will have a car, but don't really feel like driving TOO far if I don't have to.

Where should I be eating?

Well, nothing is “far” in LA, it just takes a lifetime to get anywhere and back because of traffic.

You gon have to drive far. Santa Monica is in LA county, not the city. Stay away from Roscoes. It's not all that. If you want to try it, dont have your expectations too high.

Hadn't really planned on going there anyways. Going to a wedding in Big Sur earlier in the week and then driving down for the 2nd half of the week. We don't really have any plans. Just going to do whatever we feel like.

In London for a few days...Indian restaurant, Dishoom, that we wanted to go to had a line about 30 people deep. Ended up going to Cantina Laredo. It was ok...guac, poblano enchiladas, and steak fajitas. Hopefully we find something a little better tomorrow, or get to the Indian place earlier.
