FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Did you make the Croissants & Mushroom & pep?

If yes, they look good.

Nah, I wish. Croissant making very difficult from what I understand

Forget the brand but they are frozen and proofed overnight before baking. Not bad

I do hope to make some pizza on that level this year

Had two different burgers so far and both sucked. The burger meat taste different. Sodas out here taste like stevia is in it. Other than that the food is okay. Taxi driver told us to venture out away from the tourist area.

I think one of the cable cars broke down. We went for a walk up a steep hill.

Edit: onion rings and pork belly were really good.

When did corn ribs become a thing? I’ve seen them before but I guess someone had leftover corn on the cob and cut them up to become an appetizer.

Noticed a lot of non-meat eater on IG posting this about a year or so ago.

I see why a lot of Americans come here to live. The prices are very favorable. Went to the butcher shop and paid $12 bucks for 5 thinly sliced steaks and 5 potatoes.

Took a bolt (Uber) across town for $3. Coming from Cali I can get use to these prices.

Vegan donut place (tourist part of town):
