Fasho.It's the same proteins that are in the meat itself
It can be off putting depending on how old the chicken is
But if you're eating old chicken it's probably the least of your concerns

The thought of how a fish looks, how slimy it is before, the bones, the smell, it totally puts me off.
I never liked eating meat off of bones since I was a young lad. It's too dirty & caveman-ish for me, lol. Had a bad experience as a kid biting into bone and hearing the crunching and crushing noise of the bone while chewing & immediately stopped eating meat off of bones. Always has to be boneless for me .

If you go to a fishmonger, they can scale and gut it for you. Trader joes and whole foods also sell frozen fish packets where you just have to scale the salmon or you can just rip the skin off if you're too lazy.The last time I had fish was YEARS ago at Chip Shop in BK, had fish and chips (this counts right? ) and I actually thought it tasted good the few bites I had but after that never had it again. Growing up and seeing how my mom (or any Filipino) made fish, the prep work the scales the guts, the slime like I said, nah im good on that.

Yeah it’s a thing where we all play along.
They’re not actually de-boning wings and packaging them.
They’re just smaller chicken tenders but bigger than chicken nuggets.
It’s also why it doesn’t make sense to even compare them to actual wings.
