Did you use a thermometer?

I often want to consider ordering a temaki (hand roll) but I usually just wind up having various forms of maki, nigiri and sashimi

I don't use a thermometer. Never needed to use it.

I learned from trial and error. I don't get if you're grilling the same things for the most part the same way why you haven't learned or memorized how long it takes to get what you're grilling to the doneness you like.

Its the same piece of meat(s), same thickness, etc.

Yea I mean if you’re using a thermometer for the first time just to get it down to a science I can see that but once you learn what to do no need to keep repeating the same process over and over with a thermometer

I had dinner at Red Robin for Labor Day yesterday. I deviated from my normal order of having a burger with extra patty because of the $10 Gourmet Burger deal. I had the Banzai burger.

I recommend the $10 Gourmet Burger deal whenever it's offered to Royalty members if you want a deal because it includes a specified burger, unlimited fries and a drink.

The only bad things about the deal is that only three particular burgers are valid with it, and it doesn't allow extras or add-ons even if you're willing to pay extra.

But the great parts about the $10 deal is that it saves you a few dollars off a burger and it also saves you $3 with the drink included.

What drink did you get?

Minute Maid lemonade, three cups to be specific. Standard drinks are unlimited by default at that restaurant regardless.

I went with lemonade because that's a good brand for juices. I also actually cut soda out of my life for years now! I never expected I would stop drinking soda when I got older. In case anyone didn't know, sodas in restaurants are nasty and fake as hell because its just a mixture of water, flavored syrup and a carbonation system. It never tastes like what you drink in a can or bottle (plastic or glass).

Yesterday, I learned that my intake with lemonade is three cups if I go with that $10 deal.

Seems like each time you post, those fries get smaller and smaller.

Did they change the size of the fry container?

How many did you go through? 2

Burger looks exquisite.
