Paratha is so good especially when it's fried. I've also tried homemade sheermal a couple times and it was amazing. A little bit of sweetness.

Yeah sometimes i'll buy those frozen paratha and they're actually good, nice and flaky.

Nice place to watch a game for sure. Great views from pretty much anywhere

Decided to bring back a dozen frozen chicken and beef pAtties.

Frozen chicken Pattie. Sooooo flakey and tasty. I burnt the Pattie while heating it up so I didn’t take a pick of the final product.

Had to hit up from favorite deli across the street from the hospital my boys where born at.

Fried fish from Jamaica well seasoned. I added my own rice and salad.

Dough doughnut :
Wanted to go when they first open but ended up making it in the afternoon. I wanted a warm doughnut. I asked if they had any fresh ones and I was denied. It was still tasty.

SoBre Masa in Brooklyn:

They use heirloom corn from Mexico and make everything fresh onsite.

Tres Leches - not a fan, tasted more like pineapple upside down cake. I like pineapple upside down cake but that’s not want I was expecting flavor wise. I wanted a tres leches cake.

Al pastor - heritage pork, pineapple, and spices

Costra:
Crispy Oaxacan cheese on tortilla with the same ingredients from the Al pastor I posted above

My mom made me snapper and parrot fish with rice and coleslaw

She had the nerve to try and charge me lol!

I had a few other spots on my list I didn’t get to hit up like the Dosa zmaqbool spot but next time for sure.

Yes! The other bakery on the same block 2 doors down was Kingston tropical. Not a fan of their Pattie. Not as flaky or flavorful like champion. I also went to Golden crust, I think they switch up their pattie crust recipe. Not as flaky as before.

kix2mny Those are some great pictures man! Damn, you got me starving now, lol. Some real good eating right there. Glad you went to Layers & Chip. Chips cookies imo are to die for. What did you think of Artichoke's artichoke pizza? For me it's good but quickly gets overwhelming. I need to hit up dough doughnuts...they look promising. What location did you go to?

Sheermal is so good. I haven't had it in a while. It's great even by itself or with a cup of chai.

Flaky ones are the best. I hate when I get this one brand that has close to 0 flake...it just doesn't hit the same.
