FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Soup is predominately water based with a broth mixed in.

I don't see how a stew cam be labeled as #poor. Cause a stew requires higher quality ingredients to make, and actually takes sometime to make. Depending on what your making exactly.

But you know better than me surgeon-lawyer.
all this is wrong
AS USUAL

soup is not predominately water
as such lobster bisque
or even clam chowder uses lilttle to no water
so no a soup is not based on the amount of water or broth

#dobetter
#welosingrecipes

a stew is just a bunch of stuff
thrown into a liquid
which if ur poor
is anything from meat to veggies
or both
whatever u can find

all u need to do
to become a chef or cook
is to read

I don't make soup, ill be honest.

However what about chicken noodle soup?
That’s like easiest thing one can make with little to no effort, plus the ingredients are cheap.

Yeah for sure, this one Nigerian soup that i can probably make uses the discarded parts of goat/cow depending where you get it from is really good.

Is it a #poorman soup....not really from where i use to buy it from in nyc. $10 dollars each in a plastic container.

I understand that, and I'm saying your opinion is wrong.

Stews requires higher quality ingredients opposed to making a soup.

But since you wanna control the narrative I’ll leave you alone on this topic.

Your gonna use a fictious fantasy novel to make your point, in today’s modern times...?
Okay you win.

Im Nigerian, my culture don't see stews as poor people food.
