FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

I had my aunt stay with from Nigeria as a guest in my apartment for like 2 months. She didn’t really want me to do any type of cooking. Of course i was fine with that since she offered to cook all the Nigerian food.

Its the culture that’s in embedded in her to know she’s supposed to cook for a man, Even though i told her not to, cause shes my aunt and my guest.

Out of respect for her i just had to accept her offer? even though she was my guest.

Its the Culture, its a lifestyle that once must respect no matter what. Especially for people who are entrenched in it.

Just to add, my dad will never or has ever prepared a meal for my mother. That will be like what Master Zik Master Zik said “#hustlingbackwards”

Lobster was also commonly served in prisons, much to the displeasure of inmates. American lobster was initially deemed worthy only of being used as fertilizer or fish bait, and until well into the 20th century, it was not viewed as more than a low-priced canned staple food.

Dudes really not eating stuff based on looks.

Could say the same thing about chocolate bars. They look like **** so why would I eat something that looks like **** right

**** off

What is hard to conceptualize

Eating is a multi-step process.

Thought
Sight
Smell
Taste

If you can't get past the look of a good item, it is completely understandable if you decide NOT to eat it.
