Some told me they just got told this in Montreal



To be honest wasn't aware of this. Think you can get it med rare at some spots but I usually make sure my burgers are cooked all the way through so it's never really crossed my mind to go down that route.

Steaks another story.
 
I come in peace but I routinely hear people say the temperature of their burgers doesn't match their steak temps.

Why is that?
 
I've heard about that burger rule before in Canada, but i've had plenty of burgers here that weren't cooked well done.

This would be a problem for some co-workers I’ve had. They basically like their burgers just seared on the outside and totally pink in the middle.

When I ate meat burgers, medium-well was my preference.
