but AWD is best.. Rain and snow.. that Audio AWD system.. riding in the snow at 70mph feels like youre riding in the dry..lol Honda only puts AH AWD in the acura sedans (which still are v6's depsite a 50-70k price for some packages). FWD is good for inexperience drivers.. but AWD.. is my favorite on a day to day situation. Up north for when it rains and down south from when it rains buckets of water at a time.
FWD makes sense for sedans if you want to maximize interior space and not have a transmission tunnel going across the the interior of the vehicle. So you can package the interior for the occupants over and above all else. Not only that in these cases FWD cars makes sense also from a performance stand point as most drivers are better off with a vehicle that has understeer in emergencies over the likes of oversteer.
The other benefit of a FWD drivetrain is that you can make it more compact package.
But yes the price of a mid-size sedan and price generally of all vehicle has gone up. If you're buying new you're gonna be spending near 30k out the door avg these days.
Just sharing my latest pickup with you Fam!
My very first Foamposite
Got it for 440$ 10us BNDS
Im living overseas and to get this for srp is near impossible and the difficulty of landing one - looking forward on unds this week
be sure to protector the icey soles while youre over seas so people can always see you on ice
.... Its dependent of what you want and need...

LOL! I read the post and thought the same thing. Awd will help you do 70 in the snow but you still can't stop. Unless you live in a hilly snow bound area AWD is a waste of money and gas...

AWD brings extra weight, understeer, and extra moving parts that can fail down the road.
Also just because you have AWD doesn't mean it automatically makes you mika hakkinen, Rhys Millen...
Middle of typing this post I realized who I was replying to and wondered to myself why even bother.
lol audi's system is pretty good but its no ferarri or lamborghini so yes i agree on that.. i want a car that makes me feel like arton senna or lewis hamilton..lol
