And who exactly is that?  Like real people here.  You can't make anything on a tall tale.   Been wearing them for months... nothing is peeling.... they're as good as they came out of the box. The few photos I've seen are by people who clearly scraped them against something.... which has nothing to do with a defect.
which means you have to wear them and not do anything but rock them at the mall and stunt.. i put protection on them and ive seen small issues where things are moving.. if something major happens ill take these to a chrome plating shop and get a REAL chrome job that wont peel..lol

I will say this, I really wanted them and I am glad me and the Gamer don't wear the same size.....

What it means is you can't scrape a high gloss finish against something or it's going to be noticeable.  And that still has zero to do with some defect that causes "peeling".  If it was some defect inherent in the shoes.... there would be dozens and dozens of people posting images of it.... and it would be happening in the same manner on all the shoes.   Still waiting to see all the posts.  Waiting... and waiting... and waiting.......

There aren't even dozens and dozens of people posting that they've worn them... most pairs are still in the box.

and most others are on twitter, IG kixify and ebay selling the shoe to flip..

personally i think a professional chrome plating shop would give me a better finish that at least is guaranteed for a year with tougher material. or somewhere that can do a chrome wrap.. i do want to consider that as time goes on.

From what my guy told me, if the shoe is scuffed, and that's for any reason, then the peel is gonna happen. His had an abrasion and when he rubbed it they peeled.

So if you don't scuff then you are fine. If a scuff happens then you are not since the chrome isn't thick nor multilayered.

The end

that process would cost more than the shoes itself!

im pretty sure they wouldnt charge me more than 140 bucks to do a pair of shoes.. I've had things painted in chrome before.. im sure a plating of chrome wouldnt be much more..but i will try to see what some shops say.. if someone says 100.. im going as soon as i see anything major (even with my protection on them)

the other solution is someone can use the T-chrome paint.. very expensive paint but it gets the closest to chrome

At least we're taking baby steps towards some kind of reality.  Prior to this post... the lemmings were all talking about spontaneous peeling due to a manufacturing defect.  Now we know there's no defect... and that you have to scrape them for any kind of issue to start.

im still going with a manufacturing defect.. they could have used a paint based chrome with a base coat and clear coat but this appears to be some type of dipping on a surface that is expected to bend and with the right scrap soft.. it comes off.

Not a defect. Just a cheap method used to manufacture the shoes. Screen prints foams scuff and don't have additional print below the surface.

but it takes tons of effort to remove them.. these i can pinch them and can see how easy it can move.. im like man.. thats not the best finish..lol

I'm sure it's some kind of vinyl, it's not like they're for real painting all that. I highly doubt it but they are going for the premium foam price right? guess we'll see
You think someone sat there and painted the galaxy prints? Its just printed directly onto a material. These don't look like the Mirrors at all, I'm sure the finish will just be similar to all those ugly hyperflights that ended up at Marshalls.
i said the opposite

So what's good,Wat is the release date for the fist foams joints??...is it the 20th or the 27??...

I'm sure everyone knows the "Grey Suede" foams come out 7/1 but it's weird that the GS versions are releasing 7/11...

grey suedes 7/1 hmmm gotta check the ext schedule but those might make it to the buy list

This is a break from the norm in that they've been putting out a regular foam posit and then a pro and then a regular foam posit and then a pro for the past couple years.
