I really hope those are high quality fakes. Look at the heel. Where is the definition? The ribs on the sides look like freaking lumps. And its not just because the two tone hides the ribs, you can see that they're freaking rounded over

I hate this new no seams/smooth BS. I see the big stitch on the medial side just like on the suede foams. Why do they not use the old molds and put 2 seams on the toe?

it only seems to be some of the PRM releases that get this treatment (wheats, black suedes and Chromes) Golds had the original construction. Sharpies are so ugly though :x

I still like the Sharpies but I'm sure something about the release outside of the shoes themselves will drive me away from trying.

Still waiting to see if they've made the "Sharpie" lines removable though.

Im still in for a pair. I like what they stand for and mean, just wished that they would stop butchering the model

I didn't even catch the different stitching style until you pointed it out, and now I can't un-see it :lol

It definitely looks like they cut corners on these, so I understand the frustration.

If these are over $250, or in a pack, I'll just be resuming my hunt for '07 Royals though.

OG > 07 >

No contest.

I have limits on how much I'm willing to feed into my love for sneakers though, and I don't ever seem to catch original Royals in my size within that range. As much as I hate to, I'll settle on this one.

I mean, I can't see what makes the sharpies so historical or special.

A true sharpie pair is.... Sharpied.
If we were so serious about the love for the theme, then we could have easily made it happen ourselves a million times over. It's a $3 modification that any amateur can do.

OGs aren't a good look for wear anymore. Looks like the foam can crack and the suede upper definitely cracks bad. - not photod (Pic courtesy of a fellow NT MEMBER)
View media item 153492107s are def good but 11s hold their ground also.

You just need to be persistent and active in your search and you can get them for the right price.

This is another thing I consider. The only shoe I'd comfortably pick up from '96 at this point are Jordan XIs.

I'll give the hunt the necessary effort this summer though; I'm tired of not having Royals.

Can't go on that 2011 pair. I want to go Taiwanese on these.

But the 2011 royals are good quality and have 4 years newer materials. We dissected them when they dropped and the consensus was that they were very, very solid.

I did comparison pics back when i had the hoh, 2011, and 07 set ds. Now I just have he 07s used. Here is one of them

Very nice :hat Not mad at those Jordan 2010s in the cut either.

It stems mostly from a preference in mold honestly. It's a subtle difference, but one that my eye always catches. I didn't know that the 2011s were given that stamp of approval though. If I see those for the low during my hunt, I might go ahead and bite then.

i just got the 11 royals and I agree they holdup very well to the 07's.  I purposely decided not to buy the 07's and I got my 11's DS for a pretty good price.  I would need another pair if I was going to Sharpie them myself and for the cost of that I could probably just buy the Nike ones.

Had to post these

Just came from a Friends House

He just Got these custo's in.

Slimer's and some Bel-Air-ijuana's Foam's
