Im not a gun guy so that's a non issue for me but I understand why that could be an issue for someone else.

This was more like an early sample for NYers than a real release. You'll have your real chance on March 14th.

I'd be in for the Sharpie PEs if they don't make it a hassle or make the price unappealing. They'll probably do one of the two at least, and I'll probably pass. It would be really cool if they make the black removable so they double as a regular Royal release as well. That would be the only way I come out of pocket for a post-2007 Royal foam.

i like that those new royals the underfoam thats covered with the sole isnt painted blue so it gives the clear sole a whiter view... which is kinda cool

You have to possess one of the most one track minds I've ever come across

But I like that too. Especially because, like I said, I hope they make the sharpied ridges removable. That sole and the probably stamped Penny logo on the heel would work as methods of differentiating them from real Royals in the same way that the stitching on the Lance Mountains (amongst a few other things) differentiate them from real Black/Reds and Royals.

NTNY gave out close to 500 wristbands for the 3 shoe release (Mirror Foams, Red AJ10, Teal AJ10).

100+ additional people without wristbands were waiting.

A few tickets given out for double parking in front of NT.

Not gonna front, I've had my fair share of foams, defiantly a dope/clean/inovatitive design (plus they don't crease) but once u hit your late 20's and your white lol, you gotta turn it down, atleast for me. I don't dress very flashy. But from a collectors perspective these mirrors were a must cop, also people forget for young dudes there is really no better short term investment if u know what your doing. I can't believe isome people that don't buy sneakers think it's a waste of money when they have no idea that with some time and commonsense, you always make some money and most the time you can wear them, keep them super clean and ebay them for atleast retail, so either way you don't lose out just seems like I never hear that get brought up. Congras to everyone who coped, NIKE went ALLOUT

Can't wear foams because your white???? Makes no ****in sense. Wear what you want to wear if the occasion calls for it. If your off work & on your own time, you can wear whatever the hell you want. Don't care what other people think. Unless ur pushing 50. Race shouldn't play a part in anything when it comes to fashion and wearing what u want

I was just about to say this. I'm 23 and white and will never let my age or skin color determine what shoes I wear . There are times and places where wearing certain kinds of sneakers is inappropriate, but that doesn't matter whether you're black, white or anything in between.
