I wonder if the paint on the all stars will chip or start to show wear fast

do foams ever chip or peel ala aj 3 midsoles? ive seen some og beaters on ebay and they appear to just have scuffs. my guess is no there will be no peeling and tgis is due in no small part to the fact these shoes are cooked (are tgey not?). maybe that heating process makes the paint adhere like no other

Its because Taiwan is high tech..

IS that the reason?? it doesnt even look right sans all of the stitching. i realize its all superfluous but for some reason the stitching adds intrigue.

These mirror joints are cold as ice but I'm not paying $275 for them. I'll appreciate them from a distance.

I wouldn't pay $100 for the Aqua joints. Color is mad weak to me.

On another note, who here buys the foam genesis tale? u know the one where penny sees a shoe in a bag and wants that one.

China foams are nice. Gold foams are nice but why an iron on logo? Mirror foams I like more and more each day but it's strange they took the penny logo off. I thought I wanted Gym Red foams but I think I'll aim for the all red SB dunk highs instead. PS Air Mag SB Dunk lows too. Very nice.

Why is everyone so dead set on the gold foams having an "iron on" penny logo when no one here has had them in hand? It's lasered into the wheats, probably the same on the golds.

Nike can keep those mirror foams..overpriced gimmicky crap imo. Also, I don't appreciate how they took off the 1 cent logo on the back of the heel..and I wouldn't be surprised if they start doing this to foams from here on out, like how JB took the "Nike" off of the III-VI's...money saved for me.

I'm not complaining, I really don't care if it's ironed on glued on sewed on. As long as they look good on feet with a fit I'm good. Just kinda strange that's all.

The one on the right is more favorable, most likely the '09 release and the monstrosity on the left looks like the '10 release. Can't believe I spent 140 on those

 I'm not settling for anything. When the first pics surfaced of the back of the shoe I thought it looked nice while everyone complained... it's never about what looks better, it's always about what's older. Just like Gamer G said it's the exact Reverse of the Jordan/Nike Air situation, people will complain about any little change to a shoe. To me it looks nicer with the NIKE on the back... I'm just saying Nike isn't gonna phase out the Cent logo, I'm sure this is just for the NYC ASG.

i really hope its only  for this Dural (From Virtua FIghter) inspired shoe.
