LOL the foam hype has definitely died. They didn't even wait a month to put these on sale. I hope the same thing happens with the volts. I want them but I'm not paying anywhere in the $200's for them. The most I would pay for the Volts is $180.

i dont think the hype has died at all. just lacking colorways, IMO the Knicks are fuego but im also a New Yorker and a Knicks fan so they were a must for me. best believe if they drop a simple colorway, something black/red or black/blue they will sell like hot cakes. all the prints were basura. Weathermans, Tampons, Safaris, Elephants. :x :x :x :x :x

They were free for a lot of people. I wish there was an opportunity to grab them at retail but there wasn't. Someone offered to sell me a pair for $800 the week they released but I just couldn't see dropping that on shoes some people got for free.

in other news.. i finally iced my other white foam.. here's a comparison to the day i copped.. and today..lol
Basically my foam material is more yellowed than the sole.. which means this will be going to the custom shop to get the foam and mesh restored back to deadstock colors so i can resume treading obsticles in my foams..lol

Me too! Once I get my Metallic red and Stealth Black foams I will probably retire my love for foams. Oh and the All Black Tim Duncan foams with the silver hologram on the side I will cop those also. I passed on the 2011 "Black Friday" release of them, all because they didn't have the silver hologram on the side like the OG's below.

Not weird... just not about that #richlife like @bigj505 and many others who have "oodles" of pairs laying around.. i take care of the things I buy as I'm thankful of what i have.. thats all.. I like the whole restoration thing.. it sets me away from the sneakerheads as I never considered myself one.. Just one who likes shoes and likes them to look fresh at all times because the price to get new ones are INSANE nowdays..
