Worn 3x on ebay is really like worn 10x.. Can they really be VNDS if the entire logo on insole is faded? How easily the the Nike air logo on the insole fade? After 5 wears? 10?
it depends on how long you wear them, the temperature, and what you are doing in them that could lead to that too

My yeezy foam insoles wore off after one wear of about 4 hrs.
I think this is with all the insoles that come with foams. One person on ebay was smart. He sold me "worn 1-2x" pearls for $245 shipped. The logos were still attached but it was because he removed the og insoles when wearing them.. o well

naw not all foam insoles rub off after a wear. just the newer ones.

Maybe after one wear is exaggerated but these logos are def not durable. I can tell my seller removed the insoles though. You just know when someone removed the insoles unless were talking removable ones like kobe 8,9, lebron 11, flightposite etc.

View media item 10972947 years later and I'm so salty about never picking up the cactus. Shoe City had em rotting on the shelf for $79.99 for almost a year straight and I wouldn't bite. Now a pair in my size is non-existent. In hindsight 07' blessed the og collectors with colorways and soles that would hold up over time. I don't by foams anymore But black upper solid sole colorway would raise my eyebrow.

not a big fan of cactuses and but i remember get my blackout foam pros for 74.99 at dtlr.. i felt sooo good.

A guy at kings dominion had on a pair, I broke my neck tough when I peeped em. Even with all the other loud colorways out, that neon sole against the black upper is wild eye-catching.

I've always been heavy on foam pros and before the foam one came back, it was a solid sole world in the land of foams minus a select few colorways.

And that same shoe city sold these as well, the internet calls them a unreleased sample but I put my hand on the bible that I tried them on in store and passed several times because the colorway just wasn't doin it. They dropped after the 05' silver foam pros in like 06', the peanut butter Duncan foam maxes dropped around that time too. Two good shoes in bad colorways.

Speaking of Duncan foam maxes, those are just as much a hood classic as foam ones and pros. Aside from the DC area, New York showed them much love in the earlier 00's. Street cats know how heavy the silvers, black and white pairs were in the streets. Another one of those had to be "hustler to have" kicks with short sleeve or sleeveless hoodie and sweat shorts combo. Back when the unofficial street colors for DC were black and grey.

I wish nike would have retroed the whites a couples years ago with the silvers and blacks.

DANG those are gorgeous.

guess we aint gonna see the shooting stars foams release solo?

we better not! that would be THE biggest slap in the face for those of us that bought the pack.
I love my foamposites. They're pretty much the only shoe I want and hunt down on the regular.

I wouldn't mind them being on ID. Personally, I don't care what nike comes out with or how much they make a mockery of the foamposite line on their own. I know they will not make them like they did prior to 08. Since the shape won't be the same and they are shoving more and more foams in the toilet, at least allow me the opportunity to create some pairs that I want. Even if the options aren't amazing, I can create something that would suffice.

You can't make everyone happy, I know putting a shoe on ID usually "kills" the line, but I think a good amount of people would rather that than not.

foams have already been "killed" so if anything putting them on ID would be the thing to do to restore some interest. but since foams still sell relatively well at the ridiculous price point, they won't listen until all foams sit on shelves until they discount.

I wasn't seeing the bigger picture back then but I would have been lit wit a browns jersey.

And yes, white foam maxes are one of my grails along with any fp3's, real #%^*+= know.

I wished I could afford all the foams back then. Broke college kid in 06-09. And before that, High School, ha. Wasn't buying crap

Everyone calls the Mocha foams "samples". They kind of are but also kind of aren't. They started making full size runs of them. They actually sent them to at least one maybe two stores. They cancelled them for some reason I don't remember why. But it's the most common "sample" as far as foams go

These have a PU midsole, so why are they much more durable than jordans? You hear about jordan 8s crumbling etc.
