There are a lot of junk posts but it's still helpful.
Theres a dude on ebay selling some for $340, was originally at $420. We chopped it up and I think he's pretty negotiable on price. Shoe is a 8/10 IMO. Some heel drag and minor yellowing of sole are only imperfections. I was gonna buy them, but I know eventually after not being able to sell them he might lower price even more. I like the Doom's too, but not at a $300 tag, especially when I just copped a pair of Galaxy Rookies for a great price.
No one is saying there won't be foam, just that suede takes the functionality of the foamposite (durability, easy to clean, good to beat up) and makes it obsolete. Which is odd considering the foams origins. I don't mind, it's not as if Nike is going to cut off production of regular foams or anything, I just would rather see them do better colorways rather than experiment with diff material coats and etc.
I just really want doom foams tho, that's the only reason I stay subbed to this thread, I got hopes one day I'll see a pair in someone's sig for the low.
Guess some people just walk that way then.Foot draggers or dudes who wear their kicks to loose.
I gotta friend who used to do that and I would just tell him to pick up his feet more when he walked since you could hear him dragging his kicks on the sidewalksGuess some people just walk that way then.
Damn...missed them. Still some sizes up for Safari's if anyone is interested.Asteroid foams sz 10,11,11.5 $150

The majority of Nike's customers don't give a **** about quality, man
I realized this when dudes in a FB group were getting mad b/c the older people complain about the new AM1 shape(s).
fallenz3ro they re-upped sizes again 8-11.5Damn...missed them. Still some sizes up for Safari's if anyone is interested.Asteroid foams sz 10,11,11.5 $150

I can't even front like i've never done that before. Sometimes it's a hard choice to wait for the next retro though b/c it may not happen for another 10 years or something.Exactly. That same kind of anger from people that only care about obtaining nostalgic pairs and colorways that interest them is all over this site.
It's like if you don't enter a thread, ignore all of the flaws of the shoe that you perceive, and just drop an "Copped " or "Two or three pairs if possible please " kind of comment; you're an eyesore
Your first post got deleted because this isn't allowed fam
Nike IMO normally puts out garbage quality-wise, size differences, poor quality on J's, just a slew of made in Vietnal/Taiwan issues. When you pay someone .38 cents an hour to make a over $100 shoe what do you expect bro. If they keep messing up the Foam's with ugly colorways I'll be lost cuz thats the only shoe I wear. Only one I've seen worth a dang is the supposed Volt coming out sometime... long as they don't eff that up we're good. In the meantime, I'll keep my oldschools on rotation.
black foams suede
Thanks for the info! Sorry if this is an obvious question, but how would I go about trying to locate a pair with that info? Call their 1-800, I'm guessing?I copped my pair from Footaction with the Bday coupon. They came up to $132 with tax.
Here's the product # so you can try to locate a pair....4112606004100. This is for a size 10 so the last 3 digits will be different.
Just a heads up to those who don't know: Angelusdirect.com's Water and Stain Repellent (http://angelusdirect.com/collections/clean/products/water-stain-repellent) is the TRUTH. I spray it on all my kicks immediately when breaking them out the box. It's pretty much what NeverWet was supposed to be, as it doesn't leave any sort of residue (at least in my experiences, and I've even sprayed them on Black Suede/Nubuck).
Not sure if it's been a long time since I had suede shoes or if they are harder to clean and maintain than I remember.
Once you water protect it you should be set. they get a lil bit dirty you can get a suede brush for that. IDK I'm not splashin' in puddles or kickin' dirt for giggles so maybe I'm over simplifying it
