Where would the blue dye be? These are the foams I'd be trading my Taxis for:FYI - if anyone buys the 2010 pearls, make sure you get good lighting pics.
A lot of pairs came with a blue dye on them.

Nice pictures by the way.. since these are in pretty good condition.. If you can get the chemicals to make your own and the time, you will get faster results.. I went to a lab and got high concentrations of my blends but I've tried Sole Sauce and gotten the same results. For those in the picture.. if you are doing indoor sessions a week per shoe should get them back to Press-Picture-Deadstock Ice.. (just be sure to get some really good UV lights and the more OD you go with it.. the better..lol) If you're doing it outside it would be faster and i would recommend to cool them with ice-packs and if you really aerodynamic with it.. have them in a way so that wind gets in the shoe from outside as that keeps the shoe cool as well. Also,be careful with foams that have graphics the sauce will eat up the graphics.. the solid colored ones you can be a bit careless :-D. Its not an overnight thing so when I did pair of redded (From the Nike box) DS Gym Greens.. It took 4 (8Hour Sessions Over a 2-day period to get the bottom back to Press-Release Icey Clear..lol) Then you would want to protect the sole.. If you want them to really never ever get yellow from oxidation not only cover the bottom but the sides as the protection should also block the UV lights.. If youre OD about it like myself.. a UV clearcoat before protection will really help out big time..
Hey GamerG, based on the photos above, what would you recommend as far as de-yellowing the soles and protecting them? Sole-sauce and Soleprotectors?
Thanks for the tip.. Ill make sure i look for the blue in the pearls.FYI - if anyone buys the 2010 pearls, make sure you get good lighting pics.

the dye was on a TON of pairs when they released.I've never seen that blue dye before. Weird..
Newbie (to foams) question....these are $250 at retail?
bigj505 During RD, I mixed and matched 4 different pairs. What irked me was these little "bubbles" on the foamposite material. Almost like small imperfections on the molds they used. I only really saw that on those pearls. Never did see any of that blue dye.
How weird..any idea where the blue stain came from?
if i spent some bread on some pearls and they had that from the store ... whew.. thats why when i get shoes i ALWAYS check them when I get them at the checkout desk..
When i got my first pair of Gym Green's i told the dude i need another pair.. the carbon fiber had bubbles in the clear-coatyea... good thing is there were plenty of pairs around so dudes could return theirs and get correct pairs.
some people didn't realize they were messed up til later tho.
