That sucks, last time I ordered from them it was double boxed. I'm guessing it's cause of the bigger than normal size box these come in. Mine came in an oversized box from ndc.

that box is typical eastbay. they only double box on hyped JB releases. everything else gets the plastic bag treatment.

Footaction sent mine in a plastic bag with the portage label sticked on top of the box so now I cant get it off without damaging the box

Absolutely love the shoes, can't stand the strap shape or material. Decided to modify it for interchangeable straps. So far, I've done raw leather (pictured), patent and full-grain leather. All real materials. For me, it makes the shoe 10x better.

Did a lot of people modify their pairs? i just dont normally see so many people posting about changes they did to their shoes, especially right off the bat on a All Star Game release no less. do people like the shape, but not the details of the shoe? that seems to be the overwhelming complaint from those who modified them
