Flight (2012) - Trailer - Denzel Washington,Don Cheadle,John Goodman

Yeah. You get to see shorty in the nude. She was bad. It's actually Catalina from My Name is Earl. I recognized her as soon as they panned up and showed her face.

first 5 minutues is like a porno or something?

Nah just 5 minutes of homegirl walking around in the newd...I mean bared it all...

700

Another reason to see this.

Saw it last night and it def waant what I was expecting. Denzels character stressed me out in the movie tho lol. I enjoyed it.

You aint never lied. I mean he had me pissed off, stressed, believing he changed, and more. Thats how well he played his part. Oscar worthy imo

It was pretty damn good. Glad I didn't see the full trailer. Goodman popping up was a pleasant surprise that had a lot of people buzzing.

I might go see it again just because. Denzel carried that film, though. Not too many folks left in Hollywood that could take what was mainly dialogue driven film and make it that enjoyable.

Very good film. Denzel and Goodman were excellent as usual.

My heart dropped when I found out Katerina's ******* died in the crash.

The Denzel slurpage is disgusting :x :x

Are yall serious with the reviews of this film? Amazing? Just because Denzel is in it :smh: :smh: It was OKAY.

Lol other than the opening scene in the hotel and the plane crash, this movie was average. Unrealistic/super soft ending. The romance with the crack head bish was pointless and hella anti climatic. John Goodman character was hella corny and didnt match the rest of the movie Yes Denzel killed it but thats to be expected. Movie overall was not great though.

*shrugs*

Okay.

I finally got around to checking out Flight.......Ruxin's wife's *******. That's all.

Right upfront...the plane sequence was one of the best scenes of any movie I saw this year. The pacing, the tension, the subtle touches, the acting...just great well orchestrated filmmaking and perfect for what it was. If you love movies or Denzel or ******* you have to watch this. Amazing film, all the way to the end, which is at about the 30 minute mark.

Unfortunately, after that another movie starts...
Now...Denzel is great...he is. But he basically becomes a knockoff Dr. House except if he was a pilot instead.

This is the first time I think anyone's ever said this, but I really wish Damon Lindelof could've gotten a look at this script. This is him. This is what he does. This needed the Lost effect. And I'm not saying it needed smoke monsters and mysteries with no end. People forget that Lost was great, non-linear character storytelling. It needed that touch. Because they nutted early with the plane scene right at the beginning.

A better storyteller and editor would've cut little pieces of the flight into the movie leading up to the big reveal of what exactly happened. But instead we get 30 minutes of Flight, then 2 hours of alcohol rehab...At the end of the movie, I sorta sat there and said...that's it? :nerd:  "Don't go being addicted to stuff, mmkay." Almost none of the details of what happened in the first 30 minutes made any difference. It could've been 'Awesome, you drove that kid to the hospital!...But you were drunk!'

Robert Zemeckis, what'd I expect? :smh:

9.5/10 if you stop it right after the plane scene.......7/10 if you don't.

And as far as anti-addiction stuff goes...this just made me wanna knock back a couple.

This movie sucked. Absolutely terrible. 1/10 story that we've all heard a million times. "Alcoholism is bad, it will make you lose your morals, family, and life" blah blah blah blah. It was boring for the majority of it, and that ending is on Law Abiding Citizen levels of bad. Will probably never watch this again.

imo thats what was good about it.  it wasn't just another silly action movie where the hero saves the day and thats it movies over (which is what i thought it would be judging by the commercial).  to me it showed that heroes no matter how impressive the feat are not exempt from the same rules as the rest of us.

i agree though this movie really did make me wanna cop some jd and just go to town

Law abiding citizen, bad? Wow.

I finally got around to watching this and it was a solid watch. Denzel owned his role. I agree, the first thirty minutes was an amazing rush... I WISH I could've seen this in theaters. The red head added no meaning of depth to the story at all. The ending was honorable yet a bit cheesy.

I'd recommend watching. 6.5/10.

Saw this a little while ago and this movie was nothing like I expected it to be.

I thought I was watching the wrong movie when that opening scene started.

The airplane scenes were :smokin but the rest of the movie was meh

Yes it was that bad. Not only did we all see it coming, but who in their right mind would do that to themselves? It was just so poor.

Take Denzel Washington out of this movie and everyone hates it, no question. Its horrid. The plane crash was literally the only good part about this movie.
