I've noticed the recent dip in price for HDTVs.. I bought my Toshiba 32in 1080p for $630 2 months ago for my bedroom. I wish I had gone @ least 42 though

damn thats a huge difference a 40 inch and a 67inch...lol yeah the 850 and 950 series are about to drop as well. but i think imma just go with the 40 or 46 650or 750. depends on how much the xmas bonus is

Yeah I was looking at the 67 inch, the LED lighting ftw. I think they last for like 20 years or something amazing like that.

. I like LED DLP tech better than LCD. i have aa550 42", and i hate how hot it gets

, plus in the light, blacklevels are way off. I have a 63" DLP in the living room, and i have no complaints about it other than the fact that i got it right when 1080p tech cameout, so it only puts out true 1080p through Firewire (Firewire never took off, so i have no peripherals with that connection). I might get both the LCD and theDLP, and use the LCD as a display for my mac pro. Havent decided if i want to spend all that money yet tho

LED lighting uses less wattage, run much cooler and lasts a whoooole lot longer than lamp bulbs on your typical HDTV. They also allow for thinner panels, and there are less moving parts to operate the tv set. As far as the Bravia thing...i thing Samsung makes the best LCDs for the money. Bravias tend to run more for spec for spec.
