Exactly what I expected to hear. I said the same thing when I was going into high school; I was supposed to go to Bishop Kenny.
Like I said, they're on the come up. It's gonna take a couple years until we get FULLY recognized. Look us up.

It's basically a technical trade-high school. It's located on the northside (corner of Golfair & Moncrief AKA hood central!). They got differentfields along with the regular academics: Construction, Information Technology, Cosmetology, Public Safety and Nursing. I took Drafting (Construction).
Word on the street is that they might get Fire Fighting and something else. My people say that they will cut something out next year.

SPORTS would bring them to the major map. We got em (NO FOOTBALL BY THE WAY) but they aren't playing anyone except YMCAs and other bull $!@%. The onlysport that was in the league with everybody else (like Raines, First Coast, Terry Parker, etc...) was Women's Bowling
...I was their 1st MVP for Tennis and we ain't even play anybody! (I think I got it because I was more like an asisstant coach, did a lot of behind thescenes stuff/work)

As far as I know, the school has been around a while. It used to be called North Side Skills Center or something like that back in the day.
Frank H. Peterson (our rival school; basically the same as Randolph except with different fields/trades) used to be called West Side Skills Center.

^^I was born and raised in Jacksonville also but I left in 89 to join the Army. I did not know they change the name of the Northside skill center either. Iwent to Andrew Jackson and a lot of things have change in the city so give people a little break.

^Gotcha. Had to clear the air. They get very little respect.

I got a cousin who graduated from Jackson in 91.

I understand I can not wait to return home I have a few more years to go. I am on my way to Alabama this summer and it should be my last stop.
