F1 Official Thread - Grand Prix of Britain

Sauber will drive with a Ferrari engine in 2018. Good thing is, that Sauber will get the new 2018 engine.
I'm pretty sure, that at least one,if not even both, drivers will be Ferrari talents. So Wehrlein will probably need a new team.

Plus now no-one can force Ferrari to supply McLaren with a engine. So McLaren will either continue with Honda or they can switch to Renault.

In other news Palmer crashed TWICE... bye bye Palmer. Who will replace him? :nerd:

Video of Palmer's first accident:

Video of the second crash:

Video of Wehrlein's heavy crash:

Lol... Palmer crashed when Crofty and Ant were talking about Kubica's possible return.

Say what you want about Di Resta's past performance in F1, but what he did today was pretty damn impressive.

^ Blamed everyone but himself  Made himself look like an **** in the process.

Palmer gone after those. Wasted my donation to his F1 efforts :\

HOLY **** FERNANDO P6!!!!!!! ASFHFGSDGKFJFDGL :wow:

Painful race for Kimi.

Lewis giving the place back to Valtteri :wow:Wow. Wonder if that would be decisive in the end... :nerd:

:wow:

But equally :wow: was Kubica's test today... 2 race distances and consistent. Amazing.
Lando Norris was also very impressive.

^
should have announced his grid penalty in the same tweet

Mercedes driving with new engines this weekend. Hopefully it's a good upgrade.
Can't wait for F1 to begin again and the weather forecast looks like it will be another typical Spa race :pimp:

The new Merc an engine-upgrade or just new units cuz Spa and Monza are power-sensitive?

Hats off to Lewis... a stunning lap.
But looking back, still crazy to see how Schumi only has 68 poles. For sure, guys like Mika had something to do with it... but still... 7 WDC's and only 68 poles. Shame to see the state he's in.

Fernando juuuuust missed Q3, but P11 at a power track... can't really complain.

And what a lap by Marquez... ridiculous.

Lewis' lap :wow:Dat Merc engine...

Good teamwork by McLaren getting Fernando up there. Awful how his session ended. Stoffel starting the race from Brussels

Jolyon showing good pace this weekend. He needs it. Hope he has a cracking race.

Looking forward to the race for sure. Hope Lewis botches the start and has to spend the race in dirty air

yeah it's pretty amazing, how good and consistent Lewis can perform, when one timed lap is needed.

Really nice to see how much the record and the words of Schumachers family mean to him.
Very soon a Schumacher museum with all of his championship and older cars, helmets etc. will open not far away from me in Germany. Will definitely visit it multiple times
