Just watched an episode of SVU where the actress that plays Ashley plays a 14 year old girl involved in a childporn ring.

He always lied to his wife. But even when you look at this situation that was not even a big deal
He didn't chew out andrew though, Ari from season 4 would of ripped into dude. Ari didn't even get his point across obviously because Andrew "took his advice"
As for the Jr. agent that is what was the worst. The old Ari would have cussed her out for even coming to his office or fired her for opening her mouth
if you think im reaching I would refer you to the time he fired the twin that got his wife slept with by his brother cause he made more mony. Also the day he fried the guy with the eye problems or the day he fried the mail boy cause he thought he repped James Camron.
Ari is a person who was talking shop at a mans funeral (Allen G) and who worked on the holy Jewish holiday. He is a beast and the fact that they have him trying to be buddy buddy with trutle a man he wouldnt even talk to before or put up with all of this nonsence from Andrew and some blow off Jr. agent is sick.
Basically on point. Whether Ari is letting his friendship with Andrew get the best of him or he is just going soft, it isn't hard to see thathis character is changing.
This episode was horrible.

He obviously doesn't now, but it's clear that when the show first started the writers made him a cheater. Then they realized they wantedhim to be more of a family man so they made him a loyal husband. Now they're changing him again. There have been numerous examples brought up of him beinginhuman from season 1 and if you can't see that he has become more soft, particularly in this season, then more power to you. Ignorance is bliss.

It's good the show is changing up the formula this season, so I shouldn't be complaining.
The previous 5 used the same recipe. Vince wants to do a movie, something happens, Ari or E fixes it. Drama and Turtle are just side stories to lighten themood. This video basically sums it up:

He obviously doesn't now, but it's clear that when the show first started the writers made him a cheater. Then they realized they wanted him to be more of a family man so they made him a loyal husband. Now they're changing him again. There have been numerous examples brought up of him being inhuman from season 1 and if you can't see that he has become more soft, particularly in this season, then more power to you. Ari has never been 'inhuman'. Some of y'all are acting like he went from Scarface to Santa Claus or something.
Ari Gold has an image to maintain and always has. In the beginning, Mrs. Ari was the one with the money. She was a trust fund baby...he was strugglingfinancially. Not to mention the countless times Terrence McKewick(sp??? lol) owned his +$@. Ari talked a lot of $$!$ about what he was doing and what he'sdone...but you could tell that it wasn't true! And he's always had his soft spots. The character relationships have grown over the seasons and you knowthat he's grown to genuinely care about some people. Nothing that's happening now should come as a shock to anyone that's been watching the show.

I gotta agree with Dylishus. There are many shows where characters act one way in the pilot and then they totally change them afterward. It's like Joey inFriends. In the pilot, he was not the flakey moron that he played for the remaining 9+ seasons. Ari was the same way. In the pilot, he bragged about cheatingon his wife, but from then on, we never heard anything about it.
