Dwight Howard joined the show to talk about his offseason and more. Here are some of his takes ...

-- Howard is sticking with his statement the Lakers are the team to fear more than the Heat.

"People had forgotten about the Lakers," Howard said. "They just won back-to-back championships. I know everyone is going with the hype of having the three guys in Miami, which is going to be very interesting. I think the bigger challenge is playing the Lakers."

-- Howard said that Carmelo Anthony would look good in an Orlando Magic uniform.

-- Dan asked Howard who is better ... Kevin Durant or LeBron James? "I'm gonna go with Kevin," Howard said.

-- Howard said that he was thinking about putting together an all-white player dunk contest. Dan asked him the top three white dunkers. Howard said he would go with Joe Alexander, Chris Andersen. and he couldn't come up with a third.

-- Howard also said he had a dream this offseason that he was traded to Cincinnati. Howard said in the dream the team told him they wanted to go younger. Howard wasn't sure how Cincinnati got a franchise.

Howard also said he had a recurring nightmare about Kobe Bryan dunking on him when he was a rookie.

I disagree, but it's not like he said JJ Redick was better than Lebron, he said it was Durant... who is arguably the 2nd best player in the league right now if put to a vote. Some have him 1B to LBJ's 1A, they're not that far apart.

and the rest ...end of story

lebron could have easily won that scoring title but sat like the last six games of the season

better defense

better passing

better rebounding

speed

strength

scoring

kd is great but still taking him like 4th maybe 5th

Think this will be a common debate people try to start all year long. Will be interested to see if those who were up in arms about LeBron being 'anointed' before winning a title will have the same reaction towards KD, who has accomplished far, far less.

i doubt he believes what he's saying and is just playing a mind game with lebron. he, just like all of us know the obvious fact that he's going to be fighting for the southeast division against the heat and is more likely to face them in the playoffs so he's gotta get in their heads as much as he can.
