Thats because the idiots never let off the gas. sliding in snow is the most fun and the scariest thing at the same time.

pure comedy though.

thats more then just the snow, thats ice, hills, stupid people etc etc.

Ice and hills suck, I used to live on a hill that had pure ice on the bottom of it. You needed to be at a complete stop before you even stopped at the ice, numerous time I slid into the intersection because I crept my way down to fast. I've seen cars slide into yards because of ice and into cars in parkinglots. Ice is not fun on hills.

That is OD...but yeah it's a scary feeling....couple weeks ago I was drivin on the Mass Pike in a snow storm...a 3 hour trip turned to close to 5...I takeno chances

i bet insurance in the city and all cities where it snows is a +##%@

that looks like its mad fun, but at the same time dangerous

, its like slow motion all the way though

Yep, fresh snow isnt bad. But it can get compacted and it gets slippery as ice. and often theres a layer of ice under the snow which sucks too.

I hate winter driving. Been driving in MN for 10 yrs now and I still hate it

its bad enough that i have a RWD, even snow makes my rear end lose traction. it's fun doing donuts in a snow filled empty parkinglot tho...

ppl should've drifted in that video...jk

all of those people did NOT have winter tires, guaranteed. people dont realize this, but good snow tires make a HUGE difference. i drive an 18 year old carwith NO ABS or traction control, and from traffic lights i just start up and go, passing big SUV's and everything. i guess the car being manual adds a bitof help too, with throttle and drivetrain modulation ability.

ive seen this vid like 3 years ago. but i hate the snow so much. MN winters are horrible, i have to drive like 5 mph slower so when i turn i dont go flyinginto the car in the next lane!! i hate winter with a passion!!

AWD = my savior but still some people try to use it like it makes them invincible and those people are in for major surprises.

You can clearly see their break lights....

I agree on the sliding part though. Going down madison late at night by yourself and stomping it

That first car was definitely gassing it at least in some parts cause it kept going and going after it hit the pole and the wall.

cars with no ABS have shorter stopping distances on snow compared to cars with ABS. Why? locked wheels dig in and stop the vehicle more quickly.

I tried driving today...the car got stuck, had to push it back into parking and took out the All Wheel Drive SUV...it was as if there was no snow at all.
