Nope, can't double up on discounts (that'd be nice though, but there isn't any way anyone could get 90% off: 40% plus employee's 50%) You shouldn't need a coupon though, there will be signs and displays with the 40% off all around the store.

Might pick up some dress pants, khakis, and a pair of selvedge jeans. That 40% is a damn good deal...
If they don't have your size, check to see if they could do a charge send. They can call another store and have it sent to your house.

those CK boots

For once Kobe doesn't have MJ-inspired jeans but that sweater looks like it belong to Bynum.

The rest of the NBA All-Stars and I must say, they are adapting to the slimmer silhouette very well.

Funny because I was watch Saville Row yesterday before the ASG and it was all about bespoke suits and these guys look like they could be their clients.

Some, not all...

I think he is right because they initially take one discount and then the other so the combined discount wouldn't equal 90%.
For example, on a $100 purchase, they would take the 40% off first, which is $40 off so there is $60 left to be paid.

Then take the 50% employee discount off that for another $30 off, and you are left with $30 left to pay, hence 70% off.

Discount usually works like that.

Discounts aren't additive, for the most part.  He would receive 40% off the purchase, and then it would be 50% off THAT discount price.

In this instance it would be. The way our registers work does make it 90% though. It doesn't take the total and then take 40% off, it takes each individual item and takes 40% off of the retail price of each and then if we go in and add the employee discount (it won't let us, but this is what would happen) and we type in 50% it'll have each individual item with the 40% and with the 50% which would be 90%. I'm positive that it's this way because customers have asked to double up on discounts like that and I've heard my managers and even our GM tell people that we can't (for example, if someone asked this question, they would say that it would be 90%) I had to think for a second since I'm not in front of the register but I'm 100% positive that I'm right. It doesn't matter though since no one (including me) could even get that discount.

Lets say you have a $10 item.

90%off would make the item $1.

BUT...
40% off = 6$ AND THEN 50%off = $3...making the discount 70% IN TOTAL

I'm just doin' the math like you're explaining it.

For Gap/Banana/Old Navy if the item is on sale or a promotion, employees can only get 10% extra on top of that. It'd probably be best to just wait for the 40% to pass as employees get 50% of all full priced merchandise which would be greater than 40% then 10% on that (assuming this, maybe one of the NT mathematicians can validate my claim).

We can only get 10% on top of sale stuff, can't get any discount on promotions (at least at Gap) I've heard of people that work at Banana being able to get discounts on top of promos though

Not a big fan of the design and giant velvet bowtie.

Drake

He could dress but even that lapel is way too small, he went the safe route with black though.

Can someone point me in the right direction for some information on ironing sleeves.  I struggle with them so much.

Ended up getting that tan Barracuda jacket from another gap in medium, along with a navy cardigan with two pockets on the front, and also a blue oxford shirt. Total came out to $125 and some change. There was a blue gingham shirt they had, but I didn't end up getting it. Kinda wish I pulled the trigger and got it now.

The good news is they gave me a coupon for 40% off over the next three Wednesday's so I might have to go back and pick it up.
