Banana Republic is always having sales so I'd wait it out. I got it for around $140, if I'm not mistaken.

Classy Freshman: Yes, here is an article on the store that answers your question.

Emoney246: I don't own 10Deep or Crooks, but sure. Why not? Any brand can make a nice T-shirt. Unless I'm not understanding what you mean by casual.

I have a pair of those criss-cross style sandals from Fendi and they're dreadful. Be sure to be mindful of the type of fabric used on the straps because the leather on mine cuts my feet to the point where I can't even wear them.

Can anyone link me to a site that has nice dress shirts? A nice variety of colors would be nice too, thanks!

I picked up the same leather in grey for about 149. Next wk got a price adjustment for a additional 40% off. Nice fit but the pockets kinda suck.
I agree with Aze about BR always having sales & if they do Gap/Old Navy probably has something going on to.

yea thats what i mean by casual. i just thought maybe guys "dressing better" or going for a more mature look had an alternative to those type pf brands containing graphics and such. usually all I see are solid colored vneck or crew neck shirts.

I know they have been recommended here before but if you are serious about getting a quality leather jacket you should check out TOJ. I'm not sure if the original question poster had a budget but a leather jacket is one of those things you should spend the extra money for quality IMO. They are pricey for sure ($700) but you have a bunch of styles/colors to choose from and it's by far the cheapest you will find a MTM leather jacket with such great craftmanship and quality materials.

Bored as hell so here are a few shirts that I have picked up the past few weeks. If you haven't seen Hamilton shirts yet, I would highly suggest doing so. The prices are pretty high, but the craftsmanship, quality, and to me...the fit is PERFECT. I plan on getting a few more when they reopen mid-August. Each shirt has certain details that make them stand out...
The first is a short sleeve blueish teal. Ideal for Texas heat!

Moving in to long sleeves, the first is a fine black/white stripe with solid white collar.

Next is kind of an iridescent pink. Kind of a metallic look in certain light.

The last one is more a winter-esque shirt. A little heavy for summer, but going to be perfect for F/W. By far my favorite so far...

Kobefan23,  are you trying to go with a modern look for your alteration?

Yeah, they are bit pricey. I have to say though, I have been through a ton of designers and since I am a slim guy and by no means tall, it makes it hard to buy quality shirts off the rack without getting them altered. The real cost would go up too much to justify. In come Hamilton and take care of all my problems.

One of their F/W shirts was just featured in the latest GQ. It's a take on urban camo. Pretty slick

I've come to terms with my dilemma. I am 5'7, 145. I like my clothes to be fitted and trim. If I wanted to wear a parachute, I'd buy one.
For my casual, no tie button downs, I prefer Gitman Bro Vintage, Hamilton, and sometimes Theory. For dress shirts, Turnbull & Asser, RL (black and/or purple), and Boss Black on some occasions.

It sucks, but it takes trial and error.

For Suits:

(If you want a good investment, you may want to pay good money for a good suit)
Personally, I own a suit from Indochino, Hugo Boss, and JCrew. I may get one from Astro Black for my birthday.
Just remember if the suit looks good and the quality is great, don't worry about the price. Alterations can make the suit looks like a million dollars. (Modern, Slim alterations is the way to go)

Suits that are nice and don't hurt the pockets:

Marm - way to put not only him but all of us down with those links. Good work

I actually just picked up that black hugo boss with the grey inside in a slim fitted. I just need my tailor to adjust my sleeves bu 1 inch and its golden!

I also picked up some hugo boss dress shoes for $100 at the Rack. Look amazing

yo Luong1209..

love thomas pink shirts.. wait til hugo boss has a sale, if you decide to go that route (they have great sales on everything)

most of my work shirts are thomas pink and hugo boss 'black'.. have a couple brooks brothers, but not as big of a fan as i once was (prefer to wear their button-down collar shirts casually)

how are the indochino shirts, marmourjr?
