Remember the W&H boots?

The maker, Dayton, is having a sale to celebrate their 125 years by taking off $125 from their service boots.

It is pretty much exactly the same boots minus the distressing, bent toe and the W&H stamp.

After the discount, price comes to around $274 +$30 shipping = $304. That's a great deal considering the W&H versionr etails for $850-$950.

It comes in oiled black, oiled brown and charcoal nubuck (similar to the pic above minus the distressing/soak).

Have any of you guys seen any light-weight blazers like this, i may just buy a linen blazer and rip out the polyestor lining. I will never understand why they choose polyestor for the inner-lining. Its 85 degrees in my city btw.

have you ever tried one on RFx? I guess since its not grey it doesnt look as bad. The grey ones just remind me of sweat pants. His looks extremely light though.

I've tried one on made by Lanvin or YSL, I can't remember which brand.
It is less structured, it will contour more to your body especially if it is a bit more fitted.
It has more draping, which could be good or bad.
I want a blazer like this:

If you want a lightweight jacket, look for unlined blazers, there should be a lot out at this time of the year.
I'm pretty sure H&M has a 2-3 styles out right now, Zara probably does too.

Thanks Ninjahood, i mean Rfx, that is PERFECT!!!!! Im gonna search unlined blazers...i would need to try this one on, the drape looks a bit feminine if its too long.

The cardigan would be to warm....we are dealing with alot of humidity. The blazer material looks more breatheable. I really like the one u posted. It looks comfortable and stylish.

The cardigan would be to warm....we are dealing with alot of humidity. The blazer material looks more breatheable. I really like the one u posted. It looks comfortable and stylish.   

You would surprised how light it is, that particular one is current season so it is made for spring. It's not heavy knit at all. Just throwing suggestions out there.

I noticed the shoes were quite large as well, seemed to stick out after looking at the pictures. I bought them at the thrift store, they are definitely wider, I think an E. Still on the lookout for some brown shoes. I have my eyes on the Allen Edmond Sanford brown

, but me, being that I shop at the thrift store, it may be a while til I have enough funds.

As for the pants, I forgot to mention that I pulled them down a bit in the back for the picture. They're not too tight or anything, it was just that as I moved, the hem of my pants would end up being tucked into the heel of my shoe. So I decided to sag the pants down a little (notice it is only the back portion) so that I could cover up the heel for the picture. Didn't notice until later that it looked like that.

Edit - Just read your article. Perhaps if my pants were a tad bit longer, a shiver would help?

Edit - Here's a picture of how my pants sit. Would this be medium break or no break?

I got a couple questions for you guys that I hope I can get answered.

I'm meeting with a local attorney next week how may be able to get me a possible job opportunities. I originally spoke with him over the phone after a mutual acquaintance gave him my resume, information, etc.

He now wants to sit down and meet but this isn't a formal interview, it's more or less a lunch because we will be going out to eat.

Since lunch really isn't that "formal" I have been stuck on wearing a suit or something more casual. If I do wear a suit, should I go black or navy and with what type of tie? Usually I would do a red "power tie" but I'm not sure this is the right way for me to go.

If you guys think I should scratch the suit idea, what do you suggest? Shirt and tie with a sweater and khakis? Blue blazer?

I really need to impress because like I said this is for future opportunities. I'm confused, please NT help me out.
