Thanks. Actually scooped these from the seconds list back in Feb. Brooks Brothers version came with a topy'd sole as well! I think I ended up paying $130 shipped

Off topic, but I recommend the book "I will teach you to be rich" by Ramit Sethi. It's geared towards 20somethings and 30 somethings, perfect for those about to graduate or early in your career.

Yo...have y'all gotten inventory lists or whatever of AE seconds and if so, did you e-mail [email protected]? I've tried that a couple times before with no response and did earlier...I realize it might take a little while this time but considering I haven't heard back twice before I'm wondering.

I love reading, I have 5 books lined up now...from coding to business ethics, to entrepreneurship so I'm just curious.
Today:
The Publish pants from Nordstrom came in. They are indeed black and cotton, not the charcoal wool stated on the website
I tried to search for the link, but it looks like the item has been taken down. I'm still gonna keep this one though. FYI, they fit true to size. I got a 30 and 32. My natural waist is a 32, and the 30 is spot on. The fit is very slim. If you have large thighs or booty, the pants would probably not work for you.

If I didn't have a top coat already, and was on a budget, I'd def keep an eye on this one. I think the navy, gray, and tan are all great colors and very versatile. Staple item for sure.

It's more about practical personal finance knowledge and provides action steps to eliminate debt so you start saving and investing. Also explains the importance of starting a 401K and/or Roth IRA early. Basically, it's about being smart with your money. Don't be lazy and have a lot of money sitting in a low interest savings account at a brick and mortar bank.
But I like this author because he doesn't say to stop buying what you love. We all love buying new clothes/shoes. If you absolutely need to use a credit card to make a purchase, make sure you already have 75% of the cost saved up at time of purchase to avoid getting into debt.

Good stuff. I agree about investing young. Time is your friend and it can compound exponentially.
Interest rates at regular banks are super duper low. I remember it was around 4% or so when I opened my high yield savings account during the time WaMu was in the crisis and folks thought they would close the doors one day
I don't think the norm is even 1% nowadays.

Topcoat looks good but I feel like it has to be slimmer throughout the waist and the collar has to be popped.

Popped collar would look horrible since it is slim. If the collar was exaggerated then sure. The cut allows for layering, which is fine with me. Over the years I grew to worry less about the slimness of outerwear. I like both aesthetics.

I'll probably check J. Crew this weekend to see if they got those coats in stock, though it's probably too early still. I dropped in last weekend and they didn't have any outerwear on shelves after rearranging the store the weekend before.

DB fam got a quick question. In an attempt to save some money. I have a blue suit to wear to this wedding. I don't have brown dress shoes. I have a pair of grey suede lunargrands. Can that be worn with maybe a grey tie....or too informal for a wedding.
