I've seen plenty of ill fitting suits, but never in my life have I seen a 4 button suit or a suit with that many pockets. I think all those athletes that dress like that HAVE to get them custom made, cause no respectable brand would make anything like that

Received 2 pairs of alpha khakis in.. Very disappointed with the fit.. Here's a comparison

top pair black- bought from Marshall's Dec. '11

burnt orange bought online late '12.. you can see the burnt orange is bough an inch wider throughout the leg.. I was definitely looking for more of the black airs fitting. Camo pair I got in also fit like the orange.

Yeah, I have two pair that I am not happy with as well. I miss Dockers San Francisco Fits. I find Club Monaco Slim Fits are more to my liking.

The thing with Levis/Dockers is that neither have a standard fit. I have several pairs of 511s that all fit differently Some of them had Levis 501 width leg openings that I had to get tailored (my tailor charges $8 to taper, which was pretty much how much the return cost would've been anyway). I guess you can't complain too much about $30-$40 pants though

Like yourself I'm a skinny guy (6'3, 185) and the chinos that fit me well are H&M's chinos. They run around 30 or 40 dollars and have a wide selection of colors.

Buy a suit, get it tailored, and I guarantee you'll look better than 99 percent of the guys there wearing a tux. Hell, you can go to h and m, spend 100 dollars for a suit, 100 or less for a good tailor, and you'll look damn good compared to your peers.

Just go out and buy a suit. If you do h&m, definitely don't tailor. Not worth it being that it is lower quality.
If you really are about that life and have $700 to spend. Buy a suit for around $500. Get it altered. (You could even spend less and look fly since you might grow out of it) I know that prom is black tuxes and such but eff that. Cop a grey/charcoal suit (date's gonna have to deal with that). You will be able to use it for far more things than just prom.
