i ended up going with an RL and while i did manage to catch it on sale/disco, it was pricier than the others. feels sturdy without being too heavy; hopefully i'll be able to wear it through a decent portion of the fall (with a sweater on the colder days). may also check out the gap one just to compare, but i'd say i'm more than satisfied with my purchase.

Nope! No matter the interview or an initial meeting with a client, I always rock a suite.
Times are rough right now and jobs are extremely competitive so you need to use any and every opportunity to make a lasting impression. I’ve sat on interview panels and after a full day of 20 plus interviews you tend to forget those who didn’t make a lasting impression. If your one of the few who wears a suite and interviews well you will definitely be remembered at the end of the day when discussing potential candidates.
