I do think dressing well is important but having a confident mindset is more important. I know plenty of fellas who have everything but lack confidence/charisma.
Try telling that to dudes who lack real-life experience, and go by what google or some website tells you.
I legit will borrow my whip to anybody in this thread, who goes by the internet as some sort of bible, and will put money on them not being able to bag a 8-9.
And bag =/= getting her number.
QFT
As I stated, going from fat-to-fit is different than going from skinny to shredded. The fat person will feel and look SIGNIFICANTLY better with all the weight off and have a much healthier body overall.
Like I said, if you weren't getting any type of "yambs" before you started working out, they won't come like magnets once you do. It's up to you and how you approach and interact with women that gets them in your bed.
With your logic, every single fit person in the gym will be cuffed by every other fit person in there. And, every single fit person in the gym won't be single. That's not the case.
Sorry to break it to you, but If you're a lame, you're a lame. Working out won't change that. You have to gain your confidence as if you don't have the ideal body, money, car, clothes, etc.
Once you get a hold of that, you'll thrive more with the things you do have.

I am speaking on real life experience though. I know/take part in a lot of workout/running groups that help out of shape people get in shape and become healthier and I see first hand their transformation and the confidence rise.
Plus I don't even see people here talking about 8-9's, they talking about yambs and sometimes yambs are yambs are yambs. No one is saying that getting a six pack automatically gets you Halle Berry but it definitely helps.
What's your definition of "bagging" an 8-9 though? Because with your Aston, that challenge isn't going to be that difficult here in LA.

I have to somewhat agree with you guys there (to an extent).
No offense to anyone but you have to work a lot more towards women if you are not fit. Sure there are exceptions but that isn't the norm and not many dudes could go up to a woman and talk to them, even if you are just normal build.
Being fit can definitely provide that extra boost in confidence.
Don't even lie because I know some of you had this happen to you, when talking to a chick and you're wearing a short sleeve shirt and the sleeve hugs your arms, you see them looking and following it with their eyes when you move or flex like a dog follows the treats in your hands.
I guess I agree.
However, if you never had that confidence in the first place, clothes won't raise it up much notches.
Maybe a 1/4 notch.
Same goes for people trying to work out and be fit in order to get women. If you were a lame and unsuccessful with women to begin with, now you're just an awkward lame with a V-taper.
Not sure I agree bros.
As soon as I ripped up and had a 6-pack...moist women followed...
And i shouldn't say unfortuantely, I'm marrying her next Dec

I clearly stated it would help, but not to the extent that you guys dream about and read/watch on the internet, T.V. and magazines.
I honestly don't find it any more difficult approaching women when I was skinnier, or when I'm in my STI rather than my AM.
and it's not like I'm walking up to them like this.
How is the article giving off misleading misinformation? Do you even know who Neil Patel is (without having to Google him)?
Read his latest blog post: http://www.quicksprout.com/2014/12/15/how-a-ferrari-made-me-a-million-bucks/
And that's exactly what I was getting at.
Now, back to reinforcing my point that clothes does not get you an "automatic job" or "automatic business deal".
They complement each other, but it takes much more than clothes to get what you want in the professional world.
Clothes vs. charisma and credentials. Which one will land you the job (assuming you go, as I stated, presentable)?
That's probably what he did to get him to where he's at. again "probably"
Go spend 100k on clothing. Let me know how that goes for you.
50k to certain people isn't the same as 50k to others.
Or you can read a "rich dad poor dad" book and go quit your job and become a business vulture too.
rule #1 plant your feet firmly on the ground.
Once you've been on earth with us, then you can speak on how to become a success.

But see now you are going to clothes all of a sudden when you and I are specifically talking about being fit. I was talking about being in better and how it opens doors (gives confidence to try and then fail and learn than not try at all) and it is up to you and your personality and social skills to keep the chick or smash. You just keeps going off of the tangent and started talking bagging 8-9s and gym rats being married.
I don't think anyone is arguing with you that the clothes will keep you employed if you don't know what you are talking about, in the end you have to know what you are doing for your job but you do only have one chance to make a first impression.
Now go back to my original post, and try to read and decipher the reason to why I went into being fit and getting women.
Once this impossible task has been accomplished, maybe you wouldn't have such a hard time understanding the words that I am posting and the reasoning behind them.
Take your time.

Looking for a clean/simple watch that i can wear with nice clothes. Can anyone point me in the direction of some brands? (Not looking to break the bank on this, something under $200)
I found this pretty funny.
Back in the 90's my pops spent a minimum of 1k on suits and shoes. Fastforward to now he barely spends 200 on a suit including alterations.
In 2012 we went on a business trip/ sisters graduation to NYC. While he worked I shopped. I found Suit Supply and thought my pops would love it, I was
wrong. He didn't even want to see the place, saying they were to expensive. We all get dressed for my sisters graduation and I think i'm doing it. Pop's hands
me an envelope, $1.5 million check and told me he made that wearing his "cheap" suit, then he asked what did you make.
He told me "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig. If that pig could speak only then will people stop to listen".
