Its not a huge monentary issue, just wanted to be sure. BTW ain't nothing with giving thrifted gifts, that Pinoy guy(which ever one not sure) be getting nice stuff thrifting.Broski if you are concerned about the limit, you can always join the regular NT secret Santa, we all have pretty decent jobs here for the most part and anything less than a 50$ minimum would be quite ridiculous for the type of clothes we go for in here...an Oxford shirt alone is like 40$ is a smaller, safer secret Santa, I've been burned a couple of times through te regular NT SS so I stick to this one and don't mind spending 50$ + at all.
Btw on DB'ing with foams....HELL NO, the aesthetics of foamposites just don't go with much other than a tee shirt, even the classics like the royals, the cut of basketball kicks just don't go we'll with tapered jeans/chinos...I held on as long as I could to my foams, but I ended up selling, every time I tried to wear them I took them off and threw on a pair of runners, foams are far too deep in the casual spectrum to even attempt to dress them up....
If some of you are looking for accessories I would suggest Etsy. My girlfirend showed me the site, they have a lot of great handmade things that you wouldnt find on ebay. They are usually cheap as well both of these bags were under 100$.
Tha my first leather is gorgeous. Who knows about quality though :\
I'm from Foam City(DMV) and though its worn by what you deem as "hood" people, it remains a staple because its a classic shoe. I personally don't like them with skinny jeans/pants so maybe thats where your at with thinking they aren't good casual sneakers. However with a nice 513 sized up and a nice henley, they can be pulled off properly.I'm a foam fan, grew up on foams, so I appreciate them, not so much the crap we get now but the classics, foams are too much of a hood staple/cargo short/white tee look to actually look nice dressed up, if you have a size 10 or bigger foot you look like a clown with them on and nicely fitted jeans, if you have small feet which I do, there are plenty of other sneakers that would look nice with tapered pants and a polo, you can attempt to get away with it and do it clean, like Wis tries when he wears foams, but is just meh to me, yeah is my opinion...but you can deny the fact that aesthetically the sneaker was not designed to be won with a tapered leg, hence they look the best when worn with shorts.
ever worn a Egyptian cotton white oxford?Late response to those essentials list but am i the only one who rather have blue shirts over white shirts? I mean, with a black tie event, i'd do white shirt but i think everything else (interviews/regular work day), i'd take a blue shirt
A huge disadvantage of a white shirt is that you can see the undershirt pretty easily. It's also bad when dudes wear a white shirt with no undershirt in the summer and sweats all over the place
Does anyone use magnetic collar stays? I saw Serg mention them a few pages back and was just curious if they're worth it and how often you lose the smaller magnet?
Like thrift store buys PINOY
LOL fella you catching feelings again? My question was asked a was answered respectfully by Grizzly. Nothing difficult. If you don't like me fella or are confused about what your reading... the ignore button is right there. Use it fella. Then don't participate if you are this concerned. You're making this more difficult then it really needs to be.
I'd take a one of A's thrift finds with pleasure...lol
I wouldn't mind receiving a used item as long as it doest look like something that was picked out the garbage can, but say Wis gets me and sends me his ToJ, I wouldn't complaint at alllll
Obviously whoever I get will receive a thrifted piece. Doesn't mean I'm getting $50-100 of thrifted joints for that man though :\

Don't care what it was designed for... what matters is what it is used for. Flyknits are technically "running shoes" meant for running.... yet most of the time I see them worn.... they are being worn as casual sneakers. Most of us never use shoes for its designed purpose so you can throw that logic out the window. Wis keep doing your foam thing bruh I think its dope
Speaking of this. I'm still interested in buying that jacket. He said he was going to post pics because they weren't showing up on the other site and I'm not sure if he didI'd take a one of A's thrift finds with pleasure...lol

Eh, even if you remove my Jordans and Nikes from my collection, my sneakers still outnumber my other shoes/boots.
LOL bruh who would try to rock foams with a sports coat? Thats where your getting lost thinking you should or could or someone is rocking foams with a sports coat or a Suit. Like thats just tacky. Foams look very well casually with a tee, a henley, or nice fitted hoodie or button down. It just has to be done right. But I won't go in this maze with you ... not worth it fella.I'm not gonna go back and forth with you bruh...IMO people that try to dress up foams fail 9/10 times, if you keep it VERY casual talking some plain jeans and a tee then I guess you can get away with it, but that's what you are limited to as far as foams go...don't try to wear a sports coat, a button down, forget chinos and most definitely don't attempt the suit/sneaker look with foam posites
Weekender? How about $98 with 30% off?any recommendations for a canvas style carry-on bag? Looking to spend less than $200. Will definitely check out Etsy as well.
